Went here in the morning on 11/7/24. The food was great and the mimosas were good. our waitress had the music on, that was entertaining as well. I will be back again.

Food drinks and service was good ! There is no sign for the name of the restaurant on the front of the building anymore but it’s the building on the corner. I got the jerk chicken omelette with cheesy hash brown & side of grits with the mimosa flight ! Wish they had some extra jerk sauce i could’ve taken to go. I did get charged an extra $5 for idk what. I’ll go again but pay in cash next time ! Still a good place !

Probably the worst Waffle & Chickem I ever had in my life. When yo parents were saying "we got food at home" they were talking bout this place. Just make your food at home. Woulda been 0 stars but the Pomengrant Lemonade was fye.

New to Chicago, saw this on google and wanted to try it out.
My server was great, and very attentive.

My homemade chicken sausage and shrimp and grits was pretty decent.

My mimosa flight, trash. Wayyy to much flavor in those drinks. My Long Island top shelf, all flavor again, and that blue flavoring made it worse.

My lamb chops were ordered medium rare, they came out medium well, think they were oven baked, no seasoning and the meat tasted sour which means old…so I couldn’t finish it.

Same as my ribeye, no seasoning and tasted sour, meaning old.
Took one bite and got the server attention.
She apologized that neither were medium rare and said she was telling the owner.
But since the meat was old we opted not to have them re make it.
The fired chicken was good.
Remove the tags off the bottom of the champagne glasses, it’s tacky.
My wife didn’t want to stay, but I was here and didn’t want to find another spot.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. We went Sunday for brunch and had one of thee BEST times creating new memories. We were a party of 18 and they accommodated us very well. Our waitress, Kenyatta was a Star, attentive, informative and made our experience lively. They have a plethora of choices, scrumptious goodness in every bite and a comfy cozy feel you only get around family. You know someone's granny or aunt was in the kitchen cooking. You will not be disappointed and will start looking at your calendar to see when you can come again.

This place was unexpectedly wonderful. From being greeted with great customer service to our server to the bartender for those wonderful mimosas. I first googled them once it was suggested and the pics does this place no justice. The food was delicious. Omg the jerk chicken Alfredo omelette is my fave choice for now til I go back. The banana waffles and chicken were also a great choice. I will be back to conquer the menu.

To whom it may help, this place is terrible. My 1st and last time. I ordered basic eggs over easy and bacon. It took 45 mins to get my food and it was only 3 other customers in the establishment. My smoked sausage came out first and by the time my plate arrived. I was done with sausage I intended on eating with my food..... my orange juice was sour... the place has a stench of water damage. This place is not it. Original package house is on western. Go there please make note that owner replied to learn how to spell Original pancake house. Unprofessional and distasteful leadership. But the food reflects just that.

At the moment take-out orders are not being accepted by phone. You need to order through a delivery service or go in person before 11:30 am.

Make sure you are only being charged for the items you ordered my original total was $10+ more until I questioned the amount.

The food was good but my salmon croquettes and chicken were a little too salty for my taste.
