I've started yoga with Ms. Stephanie, on Monday & Thursday @ 10 am. I am more flexible now than I have been in decades only after 4 lessons . . Ms. Stephanie is a awesome individual that wants you to succeed. Thank you Ms. Stephanie your AWESOME. Starting 5 June 2024. Yoga will be Wednesday's @ 10 am. Come join Ms. Stephanie, a talented and energetic yoga instructor. Sadly, Ms, Stephanie is no longer with the rec center.

It's always a good experience here. Sometimes the staff ( Carrie) seems to be a bit on edge if the kid are too loud, but they're playing basketball, so I'm not so sure what they expect.

So in full transparency I did not go I to the full facility. The reason for the 5 starts is because of the true support for the community. Griffin,GA suffered through tornados ripping up the area a few weeks ago. There is a lot of healing and support needed. The recreation center is providing FEMA services, hosting clothing and resources drives to make sure the community had a true chance to heal. This center of truly supporting their community in a 5 star way!

So sadly dissapointed in this recreation center. My daughter needed to use the restroom very urgently after playing on the playground so we Rushed inside of the recreation center so she use the facilities. We were stopped because we didn't have makes on and I tried explaining that we had just come from the playground and that this was a potty emergency. The employee went on and on for a good 10 minutes about masks before finally letting my daughter use the restroom. Sadly it was a little bit late. When. I checked on her I was greeted with yet another bigger disappointment when I noticed the sign on the women's bathroom that indicated that mother's should use the bathroom to nurse their babies. I'm very saddened and frustrated by this lack of understanding and compassion towards nursing mothers especially from a government entity.

If you know someone with a developmental disability, this place is a great Ally! They have all sorts of programs and participate in Special Olympics. It has been a Godsend! They also have a sensory room.

Awesome area for children to play safely. Ares was clean, engaging, and nicely organized. Loved the equipment, area was clean. Interactive and nice. I enjoyed the equipment and watching my grandson and others play

Ww love the park!!! A little cold and windy today so we didn't stay long, but we always have a good time!!!
