Excellent trail suitable for viewing many different varieties of plants & birds. The boardwalk goes around a small pond & there are views of the pond from multiple locations. One word of caption, the boardwalk is in need of repair, many boards were in need of replacement. Also, many sections of the boardwalk were very uneven & warped, which could walking difficult. Overall, it is a beautiful trail about 1.5 miles long filled with opportunities to see marsh plants & birds.

Had a good time walking along this boardwalk. Very calm and the nature views are pretty cool. It is well traveled. You will come across plenty of other people. Due to the heavy rain, some parts of the boardwalk have ankle deep water. So I would recommend some waterproof shoes. It is a loop but it looks like there are some unmaintained sections of the boardwalk jetting off to different sides. I’d recommend sticking to the main path as those other parts could be dangerous.

What a great, pleasant peaceful place to visit and go for a walk around this mile to mile and a half loop. You start off in a wooded area, then find yourself walking through the boardwalk over and through marshlands. You'll see lots of wildlife and possibly even a beaver or two along the way.

Nice place to visit if you happen to be in the area. Peaceful easy stroll on boardwalk path. Beautiful greenery, birds, frogs, etc. to enjoy along the path. Nice little gift shop and educational stops on the grounds also. Free parking and trail is free.

I've been to this trail back in 2019, and it was an awesome little loop trail around a pond. The boardwalks were nice and sturdy, the overgrowth was managed nicely. Great spot for a stroll with kids also, but watch out because there is no railings and they can fall in. Fast forward to 2024. The parking lot was made bigger for more access. And it's still a nice little trail that a lot of people visited, only problem is that parts of the boardwalk were flooded do to the rain, and parts seemed like they sank to 1 side. Definitely needs to be fixed up, which I'm sure they'll do in the spring. All in all, cool place

This place is so serene!

The trail is a 1.2 mile loop; the elevated wooden walkway is built around a pond called "Little Pond". The views of the dense forest and wetland is picturesque. We saw birds and wildlife tracks. The trail also goes of over Bantam river in a couple of spots. There were plenty of parking on the gravel. The sign at the entrance states "White Memorial Boardwalk Parking". First you walk on a flat dirt path and take a right onto the boardwalk, which is marked black and white. There is a huge power line going through the wetland. Some of the boardwalk got narrow in certain spots. We were able to bring our baby stroller on; thankfully it was a jeep offroading one, because there were steps, rocks, and roots in certain areas. We did notice a handful of dog poop baggies on the ground; why would someone bag it and just leave it on the side of the trail? The expectation is to take only pictures and leave only footsteps. How can you pollute such beautiful grounds when you're using it also? Think people.....

Aside from that, I love the boardwalk concept. I wish I had this closer to me, I'd definitely be there daily.

This trail is an absolute delight! There are many, interwoven. You get the choice of sticking to the boardwalk, or wandering through wooded, dirt trails. If you're visiting the area (like I was), it's definitely worth the stop 'n stroll!
