One of the positives is also a negative being right next to the Air Force Base you get to see some really cool planes flying over if you are tent camping they are extremely loud in the middle of the night. It's also close enough to the highway that you can hear road traffic all night long in a camper it might be a perfect campground.

The only fault I found with the campground itself is the toilets are vaults but generally still smell pleasant.. and the water pressure in the shower is pretty much terrible. A beautiful Park to visit and hang around in and not a horrible place to camp but noises a thing to consider if you're not a sound sleeper

Took our 2 year old daughter camping here and she loved it as much as my wife an I. The campground host was amazing and very helpful. Majority of camp sites have electricity and several are pretty secluded from neighbouring sites. All sites have a first pit/grill and picnic tables. Pet friendly. Really great campground for a family with kids that want to explore the outdoors. Playground at the beginning of the camp. They have ice and firewood on site and kayak rentals. Showers are very clean and well stocked. Toward the back of the campground there’s an open area where kids and adults can play and interact play soccer, volleyball, etc, without having to be in a campsite. There’s a few hiking trails that are across the campground, walking distance. A couple of the trails make their way through a small lake where one could fish and/or kayak. There are other trails and another lake near by within a 3 minute drive time, which is still part of Knob Noster state park. Definitely coming back.

Knob Noster is a great shaded campground with several easy short hikes. One of our favorites is the mile hike around the lake. Both electric and basic sites are available. Only the host site has electric, water, and sewer. The check-in booth doubles as the mini convenience store and purchase spot for wood or kayak rentals.

Great getaway. Smaller, quiet park with two lakes and smaller fishing holes. It has a few full hook up spots, electric and water as well as primitive sites. Occasionally, see the aircraft from the nearby White man Air Force Base. The park staff and camphost are AMAZING! 😉

Campground was beautiful! Lined with trees and surrounded by forest. Each site is spread apart so you don't feel too crammed in next to your neighbors. Shower houses are clean and regularly maintained, with vault toilets sprinkled in the sites. Lots of hiking and kayak rental options as well.

This park has some nice hiking trails and some places to fish. There are about 10, what I would call premium camp sites. Lots of shade and decent facilities. There is a visitors center that is open during the week and on weekends when they have pre-planned programs.

I try a new state park every weekend and by far this is one of my favorites,campground is clean and the trails are very scenic.I highly recommend.
