The most disappointing experience. $17 per ticket for non-resident. We went out of our way to go to this pool specifically for the bigger slide in the kids area. We show up and virtually none of the water features are working. They had a hose hanging over the slide so some water was going down but kids would go so slow and then end up stopping mid way and not being able to slide down all the way. The lifeguard would have to go and pull the kid down the rest of the way on the slide. No big bucket, no water blasters, nothing. My kids tried the slide once and was disappointed. Not tall enough for the big slide so they just swam for a little while. $17 a ticket is a complete scam. If you have problems with the water then a discount of some sort should’ve been offered/given. So disappointing!!!!

Great place for the whole family. My young kids especially like the toddler area with water slide and the shallow 'kid pool' 4ft deep to swim around in. Concession stand. Separate party area to rent. Two large water slides for bigger kids (over 48") and adults. Diving pool. Plus lazy river. Plenty of lifeguards as well.

Be warned before you drive there, they have “non residents” price posted on the board which was 17 dollars a person. In order to even pay the 17 you then must buy a summer pass which is around 100 dollars. Why would you have to pay non resident if you’re required to pay for a pass? For everyone not wanting to be scammed, Manchester Aquatic Center doesn’t do this.

Kirkwood pool has gone downhill, the huge blue/white umbrellas surrounding the pool have mold all over them. They reduced the amount of chairs, and the chairs they offer are all falling apart, they created pathways so there is much limited seating. The concession stand as I remember only takes cash, but to pay to get in the pool they take cc. The pool is falling apart. As of the 2024 season the city of Oakland did not renew the resident pool pass we have had all these years. Oakland residents have to pay $17 for a non-resident pool pass.., which would last a year from renewal. Not anymore! You pay $17 and it expires 9/2. And did I mention the daily cost is $17 per visit with that pass. Give me a break. The pass expires on the last open pool day. Why can’t it last for a year? This pool is dated, furniture falling apart, bathrooms need upgrading. Glendale was able to workout a deal with kwood for the 2024 season, I doubt they renew in 2025

If you're a Kirkwood resident, this is the place to be in the summer. Has a great competition pool, kids pool, family pool, water slide and lazy river. It also hosts swimming lessons (group and private) and diving & swimming competitions. For non-Kirkwoodians, it's half-price admissions starting two hours before closing time.

I spent many summer days here as a kid. My grandparents would take my two brothers and I for the day. I had not been there in about 15 years until yesterday. I wanted a place to spend a summer day and six flags is just too overcrowded. I decided to revisit this place (given all the fun memories I have). I am so glad I cam back. The place is clean as a whistle, and staff is very nice (life guard and concession area employees both). The food was very reasonalbly priced at the concession stand and tasted great. My fries to go with the cheesburger were right out of the vat. Yummy!! For only $14 daily admission. I will be back several more times before Labor Day.

I loved it, everything was clean and most importantly,everyone was kind In EVERY area. The only thing that kind of sucks is after we get our IDs we still have to pay to get in and it could be a bit pricey when I bring my clan😂 Other then that it's freaking great. I understand it needs money for the up keep ,I just think maybe if there are a certain amount of people,that it should be some type of deal. That and ONLY that is why you guys get a 4 Star and not a 5😁
