Excellent coffee in a beautiful old historic building with exceptionally friendly staff, plenty of comfy seating, and WiFi. Reminds me of small town Texas where I grew up, but with a much better latte. 😅What’s not to love?

This is absolutely my favorite coffee shop ever. Staff is super considerate and willing to take creative orders.
Atmosphere is beautiful and seasonal. I.
Make it a habit to go once a week to develop my studies.And it has improved my productivity and happiness tenfold. You can schedule to hold an event in the cafe and or given permission to bring minor outside food in with a purchase from desk. Four pan is split up between two areas, downstairs being louder/playing/brighter. The ups.
Tairs being the quiet chill darker zone to enjoy.

Coffee is ok for a small rural town, but pretty mid by any other standards. The drink menu is dated for 2024. Very little creativity aside from a taro matcha latte which I don’t trust because all of the rest of their drinks sound like they are made from premade syrups and mixes. It’s nothing original. Shocker but I don’t consider lotus drink mixes or Italian soda original. They don’t have much food so don’t come hungry. I’ve been coming here since they opened and drinks always take soooo long, even though most of the time, no one is in front of me. It’s like they just don’t value being quick.

The booths downstairs are ok but a little cramped. There’s a really cool upstairs loft area and if you like tiny wobbly tables and small chairs with uncomfortably hard seats, you’ll be able to study the day away. If you’re coming to hang out with a friend, it’s alright. If you’re coming to work or study, you’ll likely be disappointed.

The most irritating thing to me is the music. It’s always unreasonably loud 10-20 year old pop music when I come. I like to study amongst the normal background noises of people and inoffensive instrumental coffee house kind of music. Here, they’re always absolutely blasting something like Jack Johnson, once it was a string quartet covering mid 2010s Taylor Swift and once I recognized it, I couldn’t ignore it, esp because it was so loud. It’s disappointing because I love this space, and I want this place to succeed, but I am always let down when I come here.

The new coffee shop by sonic is going to give KBC a run for the money. It’s bougie and obnoxiously fluorescent white, but their drinks are delicious, the menu is fairly updated and varied, the service is quick, they’ve got a lot of filling food options, the music is mellow, and the atmosphere is really chill. Basically the opposite of this place. Minus the upscale-blah decor, I hope KBC takes notes, or else I can’t imagine they stay in business.

I had to find a place to sit and work, and this was a very chill, laid back cool-vibe place. It shares a space with a Mexican restaurant (Lupitas) and is in the Pickers (Picklers?) building in the downtown town square. It was quiet and a good place for me to sit and work a few hours. If this were busy it would be difficult to hear but there was plenty of parking and seating including a second floor. Prices were reasonable. And the service was fast friendly and my Nitro was terrific. And the bathrooms were very clean.

I am travelling from out of town- initially, I thought based on the name of the business this was a beer brewery but it is a coffee and bakery shop.

I definitely recommend the nitro cold brew coffee and the bagels!!
I have been following KV Brewing since their early days and I've been more impressed as they've grown! They have so many options and are actually high quality. I'm so glad to finally have a place where the quality matches the price! Can't wait to see them grow.
