Kimi's is a great shop all-around. The home-made ice cream is great quality, portion sizes are generous, prices are reasonable, and the girls working there are always friendly.
The reason I'm posting is to express my great appreciation for the kid-proof food coloring used for Cookie Monster and Spiderman flavors! We go quite often, and my son especially loves Cookie Monster. Yesterday, he had on a nice shirt, and we left with blue stains all over it. I assumed it was permanent. It was/is not. The 'stains' easily washed out with soap and water. Shirt saved, smiles all around. 🙂

THE BEST ice cream in the Riverview/Apollo Beach area, hands down!!!!!! Owners, Noelle and Jeremiah, are the kindest people on earth, and they pride themselves in only using the best ingredients for Kimi’s homemade ice cream. The flavors serve as confirmation of how much love is poured into this business. I cannot recommend this place enough! Truly a hidden gem that my family and I will visit for years to come.

Top notch Ice Cream! It has been a while since I’ve had the chance to indulge in a delicious treat! The Ice cream is fresh and homemade, did not have that syrupy texture or taste. Probably the best ice cream had in some years. The employees were both wonderful. I’ll be back to try more flavors!

My husband calls me an Ice Cream Connoisseur and this place was it for me from our first visit. Flavors and texture are great. I don’t like super dense homemade ice cream, but also hate when it’s runnier and melts fast. Kimi’s is the perfect homemade scoop! ?

Quick Summary: I highly recommend this establishment for oversized ice cream portions with a variety of flavors.

The Breakdown: Kimi’s Ice Cream is one of my favorite places in the surrounding Tampa area. Now, I don’t go to Kimi’s for the modern aesthetic - as you can see, the vibe is super casual with a minor coastal feel. While it is nice to experience the fancier establishments, it’s also really important to me to just chill. At Kimi’s, you can absolutely do that! Pull up, grab an ice cream cone with oversized scoops and just hang out with your friends and family! They usually offer outdoor seating in the summer time as well.

Kimi’s is one of my favorites because they serve Superman ice cream - which is a flavor of ice cream you seldomly see anywhere else.

Pro Tip: You can request to try a flavor (or multiple) if you’re not sure on which to order. Also, Kimi’s is located next to a few restaurants. You could grab a bite and stop by Kimi’s for dessert!

Best Part: I always request a few of the 4 scoop containers of my family’s favorite flavors so that we can have them to enjoy at home.

Don’t get a milkshake!!! I made the mistake of asking for a milkshake instead of a bowl. It’s so thin it’s caramel flavored milk. She used salted caramel ice cream and milk so it diluted the flavor. The worst 7.00 with a 3.00 tip milkshake I have ever had.
