Great birthday party for a 7 year old boy! The staff had everything ready on time and provided a set of fun activities, ending with a freeze dance competition. Fun for the kids, low stress for parents! -- highly recommend.

I don't have the words to describe how inclusive we felt here with Professor Saffron. Professor Saffron talked to my son privately at a birthday party he attended last weekend and encouraged, but never forced participation. She even offered to give him a coloring sheet in a private space to calm his sensory overload (from noise) down. I love how the science area is enclosed and yet the younger siblings (and parents) could see in, yet still be entertained with magnatiles and other stem toys. I can't wait to take my kids back but really, Professor Saffron would be our main reason to want to return. Thank you thank you for being mindful and inclusive and making him feel special instead of ashamed. Also, the take home science kits are awesome! He still gets to do all the experiments when he's ready!

Great staff, creative play with science oriented learning. Efficient, well organized - good place for kid's parties. Convenient to grab food from Whole Foods while kids are playing. Parking available is shared garage with Whole Foods. Camp sessions are also engaging and well done.

We had our kid birthday party there and it was very disappointing. They did not make it festive, people arrived and they were rushing them already reminding them that they need to pick their kids up punctually. They rushed us out and were treating us to charge us more money if we stayed even two minutes longer when kids where still using the bathrooms.
It was too expensive for what they offer, no music, and after the activity the host was not around at all so no one helped. Activity was not great for sensitive to texture kids and a little boring for older kids and they did not offer any alternative.

The team at the Kids' Science Labs new location at Roscoe Village did a marvelous job creating a fun and creative party for my son's 6th birthday! Each staff member was very professional and attentive to our needs and desires for the party. The space was very clean, spacious and bright. The kids could play together very nicely while guests were arriving, and they loved participating in the slime experiments skillfully presented by Shegan, causing a lot of laughs and giggles!
It was also very convenient to be next to Mariano's to get soft drinks and snacks. And the parents could enjoy easy parking and some free time while kids were busy at the party.

I walked into my son's free trial class a bit apprehensive not knowing what to expect, so I flooded the staff with questions. She answered them all and showed so much patience for my Husband and I, leaving us both feeling safe about our son being in the care of KSL staff. KSL being a great space with science oriented learning for children is more than enough influence to enroll my child but Vanessa being the liason between parents and staff is definitely the icing on the cake!

My oldest has been attending KSL for over 5 yrs. My children absolutely love this place. Honestly, I have loved it up until I’ve grown more annoyed by the use of nonrecyclable materials they use for their projects. Each week, theirs a lesson and a hands on project to instill the lessons taught by their engaging instructors. The critical thinking that happens in the classes are impactful.

If you are someone that wants to teach your children about sustainability, their use of certain materials will contradict that. Children are going to be the ones that will inherit this planet and it’s important that they learn as soon as they can comprehend to learn how to take care of it; especially through the use of science activities!

I say this all to say that I can no longer support their use of nonrecyclables for the sake of fun. Either use items over and over each class, have the kids not take it home or have parents donate paper materials for a discount rate. Just throwing out some for eco friendly ideas. It pains me to have to leave, but KSL no longer lines up with what I value for my children and the planet.

Kids Science Labs led my son's 6th birthday party and were INCREDIBLE! From the planning and setup, all done by email, that was smooth and easy, to the engagement we saw from a group of 30 5-8-year-olds: everything was top-notch.

Our scientist was Mr. Shaygun and he mixed exactly the right amount of fun, learning, and amazement. The kids had so much fun -- and the parents have been letting us know the experience was a special one.

The only drawback is that we were not able to witness all the kids -- probably because we had too many and they were tiny on our laptop screen...but the feedback we are getting from everyone is extremely positive.

Our son will remember this birthday for years to come!
