The inconsistency of the rules to access the base borders on crazy. Different answers every day and depending on who you talk to or who is the Commander that year. Vehicle passes, no vehicle passes, guest passes, only CAC access, no passes. Impossible to figure it out and calling only leads you down a rabbit hole of transfers from person to person and random "supervisors". Eventually you'll get on but it might take hours waiting at the pass office first. Definitely don't make any hard plans that are time dependent.

Great place to work. The Cottages and cabanas are located by the beach and are very popular these days. The Base security are very strict when it comes to the speed limits and yes, they do issue tickets.

Staff like to talk down on people and treat them like children. Very disrespectful in general. Photo copies of your social security card don’t work even if family flew halfway across the world.

It's a gate. They do their job and keep bad guys out. Had a bad experience or two because of some overly motivated individuals but it is what it is.
