Food was average, not flavored, potatoes tasted like the were too much time at the refrigerator.

Very busy place even if google says it is not too busy, we got our first bad experience in Hawaii, we are been here 3 weeks and all the people is very polite and kind, but this place.
Our first time here and we followed the instructions, made an order, grab a table ( I didn’t see any place where say they sit you) , we grab the table and the waitress moved us, and told us that we can go outside because someone wanted that table, the table wasn’t reserved, all the people saw us like we made something wrong we felt very humiliated, just because we are Latin people. We paid 50 dollars to get mistreated ?.

Hemos estado 3 semanas en Hawaii y la gente es muy gentil y servicial, pero este lugar fue la excepción, son groseros y racistas.
Llegamos por primera vez y seguimos las instrucciones;
Llegas pides en la caja, agarras una mesa ( ellos no te la dan) tú tienes que buscar una que se desocupe), agarramos la mesa y la mesera joven con una actitud de diva nos quitó, porque otra pareja quería estar sentados afuera y los movió de adentro a la mesa que habíamos tomado nosotros, fue muy humillante, todos nos voltearon a ver como si hiciéramos algo malo, claro por ser latinos. La chica era local, hablamos con la manager y solo se rió, así que no recomiendo. La comida está sin sabor y por dos personas pagamos 50 dólares más propina que te piden antes del servicio.

I had the pleasure of dining at Kalaheo Cafe, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with beautiful decor and a laid-back vibe that's perfect for both a casual meal or a special occasion.

The food was absolutely delicious – I had the loco moco, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was freshly prepared. My partner tried the pancakes, and they were light, fluffy, and topped with fresh fruit, which was a real treat.

Service was attentive but not overbearing, and we never had to wait long for anything. They also have a great selection of local coffee, which paired perfectly with our meal.

Overall, I highly recommend Kalaheo Cafe for anyone looking for great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Love Kalaheo Cafe for breakfast! They get busy FAST and the parking is limited so I recommend going early (even before they open). I have only eaten here for breakfast so I’ve tried basically every breakfast item they have.

We got the Mochi Pancakes special and eggs benny this time, but my favorite is the smoked salmon benny. The fruit is always fresh and the staff is always nice!

The desserts/cakes we take home because we get so full, but can’t leave without one.

The only thing I don’t like is that it can get loud from the small space and from the cars since they’re right off the main road.

Overall, if you’re looking for a breakfast place, this is it. Just come early or you’ll be waiting — they do put a nice sign on the table for you to eat and go though ? They also have a patio for those who love patio dining!

I have been here a few times and every time that I have gone I can say that the food and staff are great! I have gotten brunch and a few dinners here, all of which were so tasty! I also cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I never wonder where someone is if I need something, they are always aware and come to your aid without having to stand up to go ask. Staff is always positive and brings good humor as well! I highly recommend, it is absolutely worth your time.
