My food was so good! I got the wings and Alfredo. This is not the place to go on a 30 min lunch break. It might have took 45 mins to get my food. Maybe calling ahead of time will help. But overall the food was delicious!

My partner and I were sitting around waiting for a load and we decided to try this place after all of the good reviews ! We walked in and we were greeted so great customer service ! I ordered the wings black eyed peas my partner ordered the chittlins (chitterlings) ? on top of rice and gravy , with cabbage and corn and sweet peas !!!! Everything was PHENOMENAL!!!! Soooo worth the wait ! I’m extremely happy we stopped here now it’s time for me to take a nap !!!! GOOD JOB YALL !!!!

Immediately greeted when we walked in, great customer service, had to wait about 30 min. for the food, which was well worth it, ordered the turkey wings, rice & gravy, macaroni, and green beans, and shrimp pasta with fried wings, and it was soooooo fresh, well seasoned, and delicious! They even came to check on us to make sure everything was alright. It was our first time there, and we’ll definitely return soon! Can’t wait to try the other menu items! Thank you, K & J Soulbar and Grill!

My first time trying their food and OMG! First, I want to say I am an Excellent cook so when I try others, I am hard to please sometimes. Their food is fantastic!! This is what I ordered and scoring it:

Great soul food with that “Homemade Mamas Kitchen” feel. All food tastes fresh and made from scratch. One of my favorite authentic “Mom and Pops” type restaurant to visit!

This location offers military discount!

The new space is bigger and more inviting! There is a pool table and sports style deco. Feels like a sports bar, but still very inviting.

Previously known as Sista Sista in Grovetown, this establishment relocated and renamed.

As for the food, I had the Shrimp Alfredo and Wings. Very good overall on flavor and presentation. For this meal, I would give it 4/5 stars!I have enjoyed many items on their menu over multiple visits and with overall combined experiences, this restaurant is a 5 Star establishment without question.

To further elaborate the Shrimp Alfredo and Wings meal previously mentioned, I would recommend bigger pieces of shrimp without the tail and a light saute’ in garlic and butter. The chicken was fried perfectly, but was lacking seasoning.

I highly recommend this location.

Got the Oxtail with rice and Mac and Cheese and it was ? I went during lunch and they had my meal ready in literally one minute. Definitely adding to my lunch rotation.

Update: went there today and had turkey wings and fried chicken. This is literally the best Soul Food in the area. ?
