We live in Florida where fresh seafood is plentiful and delicious. So you can imagine our surprise to find the shrimp at Jimmy's in Jackson, Georgia to be as good as any we've ever had anywhere. The large selection of sides were also very tasty with good size portions. Top that off with outstanding service and reasonable prices gives this local restaurant a winning combination. It was so good that we had to make a second trip for more shrimp while we were in town.

Good food for the price. Service could be better. My waitress was attentive however I was initially ignored by 2 ladies near the hostess stand. Both looked at me but didn’t acknowledge my presence. If the staff were trained on hospitality, this place would do a lot better. Overall not a bad experience so I will be back.

The food was really good! And the Waitress was really nice and also refilled me and my grandmothers drinks. I noticed the service was a little slow waited maybe 15 minutes before receiving the food. But other than that I have no complaints everything there is really good I would definetly recommend yall give it a try if your a local or if your visiting the area. Also one more thing I would recommend having some ketchup bottles on the tables for anyone who uses it for French fries. Either the bottles or House made ketchup?

When I go on trips, I like to eat at local places I can’t find at home. We really lucked out finding this place. So delicious!! Best steak I’ve had in a long time, no steak sauce needed!!! Staff was extremely friendly and made an out of towner feel like a local. Highly recommend!

Was not impressed with the food. Food was cold. Steak came out rare when ordered med well. Not to mention, ordered filet mingnon and it tasted like mystery meat. Sautéed mushrooms were very dry. Had to ask for new silverware because there was dried food on silverware that was given to us. Much more.

Hubby always gets a ribeye! Good quality and always cooked how he orders it! I have tried the hamburger steak and the lemon pepper chicken. Both were excellent. Love how they let you pick what you want on your salad!
