Brisket was flavorful but dried out. Corn muffin was good as well as mac n cheese You order at counter then food is brought to your table..not that it's a problem. They were out of ribs, rib tips and pulled pork. I must say, this visit was an hour before closing.

This is actually a local place I visit frequently because I love their loaded potatoes, add brisket, whenever I get a taste for brisket. I normally try to go in whenever I can, but I wasn't hauling my sleeping toddler into the restaurant. I have noticed recently that whenever I decide to go through the drive thru either, my order is wrong when I repeated my order more than once, or they never ever give me eating utensils. So tonight, I ordered a brisket loaded potato. I asked for bbq sauce because it does not come on the brisket, and after paying in the drive thru, I literally asked the girl at the window if she had the bbq sauce on the order. Just to get home and no bbq is in the bag. Also, tonight, I informed her that my last visits utensils are never in the bag with FOOD that I ordered. The employee informed me she would make sure to add them and stated, "unless a customer ask, they do not put utensils in the bag." I am sure she could read the look on my face and what I was thinking of what sense does that make when ppl place an order to eat food and not with their hands, btw. I am over my slight rant and basically will be taking a break from ordering a loaded potatoe for a while lbs. I can't even eat any more of this potato after typing this review. Let me go find something else to eat from my kitchen smh.

We heard that they had a giant loaded baked potato special and it was a done deal that we had to try it. I am a picky eater when it comes to meat so I was happy to know that there was a turkey option for a potato topping!! My husband had a pulled pork sandwich with a brisket loaded potato and the spicy BBQ sauce, while I had a simple garden salad and their 'Sweet Chicago' sauce. I was very happy with my food, as it was just the right amount and no leftovers to take home. The price was decent for the two of us. As a big fan of baked potatoes its nice to have this option locally available. I will have to return and try their 'award winning' chili sometime.

Today I had ribs, four bones, with pulled pork combo. Both were excellent, the ribs were very meaty, and tasted great.

One of the best places in the Kankakee area to eat. Michelle is a wonderful person and cares about her customers. She gives the best service and the ribs are so tender. Not to mention how good the brisket sandwiches are. I will go back again and again. Love this place.

Was excited to try again after many years. While the brisket was delicious, a tad salty but acceptable, the sides were less than desirable. Seasoning does go a long way to bring our the flavors of your sides. Don't be afraid to use them. 🙂 The coleslaw tasted like plain mayonnaise. No seasoning. The Mac and Cheese was nice and cheesy/creamy. If it had seasoning, it would have been one of the better ones. Most are dry. The ranch potatoes were the worst. Dried out and bland. The best part were the charred pieces.
