I thought the food was very good. Everything I ate seem to remind me of my mom's meals and believe me she was a good cook. Service was also good. The only thing I had a problem with was the price and I thought it was a little too high. Maybe that's only my opinion but it's more than I would want to spend very often. The price is why I gave it a 4-star rating.

Couldn't wait to come home from KC and enjoy Jake's ham breakfast! Great value, excellent food! I read a review about Shelby and we don't know her personally but she has Always treated us kindly and even knows our usual drink order and she's full of personality! She always makes us feel welcome.😇

Small family owned and operated cafe. The food is great. Customer service is tops. Lunch crowd includes area law enforcement. Customers are all kind and caring to my 90 year old Mother. We have assistance in/out the door, at our table, accommodating her wheelchair.

My only negative is that smoking is allowed. Lunchtime locals (10) sit at a big table and smoke before, during and after their meal. Another local smokes a pipe.

I've been here 2 times and both times Jake's sister, Shelby, was my waitress. Now Shelby n my daughter went to HS together and I don't know that that has anything to do with anything. But Shelby was RUDE as she could be both times. I like Jake's cooking anywhere he's cooked. But I can't tolerate that little sister of his. Sorry Jake.

Freshest salad bar around!!!! I had the for taco lunch special and this is the first time I've ordered tacos out and the meat was not greasy and dripping and runny absolutely impressed with the quality of food!!!

Reasonable prices, good food , friendly staff. We have breakfast every Sunday at Jake's when we are at the lake. Food is always consistent and service is good.
