I have thought about stopping in this place before as my parents just moved a few months ago up here but when I saw a negative review on Facebook that just pushed me to support them all the more! Everyone else in the comments said how amazing this place was and they should have contacted the shop to make it right instead of bashing them on FB. I went down there and these are the nicest people you can meet! Very clean, smells amazing and very professional. Great prices too! I got my pizza and it smelt Devine. I tried it and it’s easily one of the best pizza slices I’ve ever ate in my life. My parents had some and both said they will be supporting this business once a week now. All because of a negative Facebook review they have gained 3 new customers for life and when hubby comes up I’ll have him try it. My pop owns a small shop in Dewey Humboldt and we will be telling our customers!

Service was outstanding! The prices can’t be beat! The dough isn’t what I am used to and a little on the thin side and the pepperonis were very limited. The pizza was a bit on the overcooked side so the cheese pizza was slightly burned on the bottom but the cheese wasn’t quite melted all the way on the top. I drove a bit of a ways for this place because our normal pizza place has become overpriced and the chain place we typically eat at was having a computer glitch. We will try this place again super reasonable and I am guessing they just had an off day on the pizza cooking. Maybe if the dough was a bit thicker it would have been able to stand up to the fire. I just want to encourage everyone that is nearby to try them out. They also have breakfast burritos and ice cream. They don’t have dining and don’t look like they are open or even that it’s a restaurant but in a super cool location as it’s in a really old building. The lady that helped me and made the pizza was super nice and told me the history of the location and seemed to really enjoy her job which was really nice to see!

Love the thrifty ice cream reminds me of being a kid again!!! I only buy the pre packaged ones as the scoops sometimes can be freezer burned

I was super excited to get some ice cream, but the experience was awful! The woman behind the counter wasn’t wearing gloves, and her long fingernails were actually digging into the ice cream as she scooped it. It was unsanitary and honestly disgusting to watch. I was so grossed out that I couldn’t even think about eating anything she touched, so I just asked for a premade pint instead. Definitely did not feel clean or professional, and it ruined my treat. Would not recommend unless they improve hygiene standards!

Great pizza. Their honey BBQ wings are off the hook. They have so many other things to try as well. Prices are reasonable. Nice family owned store that care about their customers

Great customer service. Arrived to pick up 2 large pizzas, wings, and some ice cream. Let’s start with the pizza, it’s thin and crispy crust. Perfect amount of ingredients for a supreme. We also had a pepperoni pizza which my boys loved. The wings are the star of the show… they are crispy and the buffalo sauce is the right amount of hot. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Sooooo delicious and the best part is that it’s a local business. We will have desert later but what is better than Thirfty ice cream. ?
