The best place in town to get food there is one lady who works here small woman very skinny kind of short and she does have a little bit of an attitude problem but other than that this is the best place in town for fast food

NOT ALL JACK-IN-THE-BOXES ARE EQUAL! At all fast-food restaurants (i.e. McDonalds, Whataburger, Arby's, etc) the food varies depending on the store, depending on the care taken by the cooks in preparation of the meal. Worse yet, the service varies widely. NOTE: The Benson Jack-in-The-Box has presentable (i.e. good) food and the same for their service. KUDOS: There is one employee, however, who works there that gives 'exeptional' service the two times I have been there on my way through Benson. His name is Alexander. Watch for him and give him notice of this Google Review.

EDITED: Yup, I figured....it was too good to be true. Based on the two previous visits I made to this JackINTheBox, I tried it again last Saturday (9-14-24) and ordered my usual 4 tacos. The young cashier was courteous and got the order placed promptly. I took a seat and watched as the cook withdrew a rack of about a dozen tacos out of the fryer. There were only about 4 other customers inside the store, so I figured most of the tacos would be going to the drive-thru customers. During a long wait, I saw another large rack of tacos get drawn from the fryer and during the next ten minutes only a few tacos were taken off of that rack. By the time my order was called out, the tacos were completely cold. Not just 'not warm' but COLD from the air-conditioner in the store.Most of the attention by the staff was placed on drive-thru customers and little on in house customers. I was not the only in-house customer that had to wait over 15 minutes for their order.I routinely have issues with inexperienced, immature young workers , but not at this store. It was the older ladies that seemed to be physically expressing their 'tough day' of overworking. Quite surprising.

Got the Pita pretty quick, it was OK, and the ? were fair. The issue I had was that the tables and floor were disgusting. We were in this establishment for roughly twenty minutes. The manager, cashier, and two civilians who were there before we entered this establishment. Did not move from the front counter our entire visit. Just stood there and chatted while the place was a disgusting wreck. Do better please !!!

Update Update Dec 1st 2024:
It wasn't really that busy yet we stood there waiting for 20 mins in line. The staff is very incompetent now. Went down the street to burger King. Food was ready in less than 6 mins and they were busier. I would hold off eating here until they fix there management issues.

Update 09/18/22: They have since corrected this. In fact they have been my goto place and I think they got rid of the person I mentioned before and replaced them with great people. I highly recommend giving them another shot if you were put off before. The #16 Teriyaki chicken bowl is my fav combo but the Jr Bacon Cheesburgers (no mayo) are good too. All of my food I have ordered from them since has been cooked to perfection and the people working are friendly and on top of it. There have been a couple times when they were busy and it took a few mins but not anymore than you would run into at wendys (who will mess up your order 50% to 70% of the time) and less than others. That's pretty much all I have to say. If you haven't been since they first opened then perhaps now would be a good time to give them another chance. 5 stars.

They need better people working the front register. The person who served me yesterday morning around 10 am ish was either dumb as a stump or just didn't gaf. The short stocky girl with a shaved head or short hair needs to go. Disappointing first visit.

Jack is back! Jack in the Box franchise has returned to Benson. After closing down in 2015 the fast burger choices dwindled in Benson. Their returned was much anticipated. Welcome back, Jack!
