This is a review just for the deli section of the store. This is an evolved ABC store, and I wish all ABC stores had the hot food sections like this. The poke was priced decent and we got a poke bowl with an extra container of poke as well. There was a good amount of plate lunches to choose from, and we needed up going with the loco moco which was drenched with gravy. I was told by many others that the breakfast was the best but we didn’t have opportunity to try it out since it stops at 11am and we always came in the afternoon. Be careful when you come during lunch because it’s a crazy mess of a crowd and very overwhelming to someone who is there for the first time. Follow the crowds and the signs so you know where and how to order

Is market has everything! The poke is so good especially considering it’s about $17. Everything was fresh and they disclose if anything has been previously frozen. They have many toppings like ginger, sesame seed, green onion, furikake, and masago. There was no line and the staff is so kind.

They have seating but I took this photo in the parking lots because of the sun. Looks beautiful too!

Update: after emailing, they refunded the wrap, so giving back a star as I was otherwise pleased with the experience.

Food tastes quite good, but the wraps turned out to be half filled once opened! Borderline deceitful

This was a great little grocery convenient store. They've got a little bit of everything and a food area with all types of foods from sandwiches to rice bowls, sushi and poke bowls. I came here 3 days in a row for their poke bowl. It was so fresh and they have so many different options. The smoked octopus was so delicious. If you're looking for a good poke bowl this is the place.

Tried the highly reviewed items: mahi mahi tacos, kimchi fried rice, poke bowls.

Poke - tried Hawaiian and Spicy Ahi Tuna on rice. I liked that they have a previously frozen vs fresh option. Good quality and flavor for deli poke! $15.99 for ½ lb fresh fish.

Kimchi fried rice - very salty - yummy to me. Comes with like a half pound of meat and two eggs. I liked it the best.

Mahi mahi tacos - very refreshing with sweet pineapple and tomatoes - and fish was delicious.

Also tried the coconut tapioca dessert bowl - not too sweet, nice to top off the meal.

We carried our food over to the mall square to enjoy a leisurely meal over tables and birdsong and weather without sitting right by the car park. A lovely afternoon

Service was great, everyone was friendly.

This is a great store to pick up a few speciality items or to buy prepared food. There's a nice counter which produces hot and cold food items and you can ask for plastic cutlery if you want to eat on the go or outside the store at one of the few tables. Quality is good. The store also stocks some interesting food products that are not often found elsewhere - living up to its gourmet name. Check out the Salted Egg Salmon Skin (see picture) - it is delicious! Prices are a little higher than elsewhere, so it's perhaps not a great place to do a full grocery shop.

Okay so I am not a grocery store reviewer. That too when I am on vacation but I had to this time. This store is remarkable!!! I have been going here every day for last 7 days. My poor planning is not in question. ?
They have everything!! From fresh fruit, baked goods, quick bites, ice cream, coffee, souvenirs, snacks, personal hygiene hats, flip flops, swim gear- you name it!!! Best part is that it's so reasonably priced, it's not like a convenience store next to a bougie resort. It's a proper store/market. The employees are super nice and helpful. I can't speak enough of how practical this store is. Thank you for literally saving my life TWICE in last 7 days. See you tomorrow I guess lol.

What a great store! Very tasty deli and great selection of everything you need. We have been visiting Maui for nearly two decades now - The Poke you get at Island Gourmet is one of the best you can get on the Island. Tsunami, Hawaiian, Spicy, Oyster sauce Ahi Poke - All outstanding!!Highly recommended!
