I’m reluctant to give a review because I want this place all to myself 😂😂😂
The only thing more amazing than the food here is the staff! So friendly and attentive!! Drinks are perfect and my wife loves the martini selection!!! If you go, say hello to owners Chris & Nikki. They are truly wonderful people!!
And the pizza! 👍🏼🥰👌🏼😘

Food was ok, rice was dry for my taste. I understand food is made from scratch, but considering place was empty when we came they could prepare it faster. So be ready to wait a while to get food.

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday at Illusions Cafe in Des Plaines. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Chris, the owner, was exceptionally responsive and accommodating to all my requests. The overall price was very budget-friendly. The ambiance at Illusions is delightful, and the staff is incredibly pleasant. They truly exceeded all my expectations. If you’re searching for a venue for a special event, I highly recommend this place! Their food was phenomenal too! Thank you, Chris, Monika, and everyone! My birthday couldn’t have been more perfect!

If you're in the area and looking for a cozy spot to get an always fresh meal, that wasn't frozen, and a very gracious hostess, then you should stop in for a drink and a bite to eat at the same time. The prices are manageable depending on how much you decide to order. It's family owned locally for over 20 years. Let's keep this establishment going.

Nikki and Alyssa are doing a fabulous job, very kind and will take care of all your drinks and food needs. The food is incredible, Chris the owner and Chef at times will always keep it changing and interesting. Atmosphere is amazing. Great place, I live around the area and come all the time. Many tvs, they play whatever you want. Music system is good as well.

We just hosted a 40th birthday party and could not be more happier with the service, food and drinks! Great place to come grab a drink or host a small event. The staff were so kind and helped set up the decorations. The food was amazing! All of our guests had a great time! Thank you, we will visit again soon!
