Fun place. Skating rink, pool tables a video games. Great place for kids of all ages! Easy place to find.

Nice staff but the lanes are old and the balls are not good what so ever, if you have a personal ball I would suggest you bring it. Also they are sometimes not open when it says they are.

We've moved to the area this last year - and have two tween/teen kids with us. Alex City has little to offer in terms of entertainment- we love the area but can't wait for some new businesses to come in. In the meantime- Idletime and the Playhouse movie theater are the extent of entertainment options here. While locals do come here on the weekends - the facility is in a sorry state of disrepair. Little to no maintenance or upkeep has been conducted on the building and especially the roller skate area - and it's all original from the most likely 70's - including delapitated bathrooms and carpeting that has never been replaced. This facility has potential - just wish some love was put into it to provide a nicer place for parents/kids to hang out and have fun. I understand as a private business owner in today's economy and lack of staff and astronomical costs right now how difficult it is to keep a facility such as this operational - just wish it had been kept up all along instead of letting it fall to the wayside.

Nice bowling alley and skating rink. The rink back home turned into a plumbing warehouse lol. Keep it open brings memories back... friendly staff and the have snacks.

I was actually going to get ice from the kiosk in the parking lot, and found two more venders. One selling boiled peanuts, the other fresh produce. Idle time is not open during the day but I know that they have bowling and skating, so I'd recommend them as a good family time location. Also, Miss Glenda at the produce stand takes several forms of payment and is very nice. Love my green plums?

It's very run down. But it's cheap and the only Ally in the area. The roller skating rink is also run down but cheap to do. This place really caters to young kids and is a safe clean environment. The owner is a very nice person. Don't go in expecting much and you can have fun cheaply.
