For a small bar it has 4 pool tables and 5 slot machines and 1 at the bar. It's also connected to a great head shop if one is inclined to check out. Bartenders are on it and friendly. Plenty of parking and the place stays fairly full all the time. If you want a down to earth tucked away little bar this is it. Drinks are very fair on prices also cheaper than anywhere close and not watered down at all. Not far off the highway easy to get in and out also.

It has been a while since I have been to this bar. I remember there being an awesome band that played here but this visit was not that good. The bartender was a bit rude and the Margherita was clear not the normal greenish yellow color and was so strong with alcohol it was undrinkable. The "band" was horrible. Singing off key and merging songs together that didn't blend at all. Left after he started caterwalling. Need to bring back the old band.

Great little bar that's been open for 24 years! What an accomplishment!
Mike French's band always puts on a great show! Always entertaining & rocking! I believe they host other bands, too...saw a flyer in the restroom. They get patrons up dancing! The dance floor is a decent enough size. The people are friendly, colorful, & a great blend. Tables are scarce as they are mostly venue style seating, but you just ask to join someone else. They have pool tables & other games. Bathrooms are clean & comfortable, and I love that the womens is private. Oh, and drinks are super reasonably priced!

But...Can't stand the smoke that you are hit with the second you open the door,...& I am ready to leave within 20 minutes, max! I always pay for it the next day. (I call it my "smoke-hangover!") I "get" that many bar patrons smoke, but sheesh! Have you not got the memo about smoking & cancer?! I am a stickler for having outdoor smoking areas... you can make them covered & heated...KTs in Oakville is a good example. The smell does come back in, but not the actual smoke.

I love this bar! I moved out of high Ridge and back to St.Louis County. I spent less money and always tip more. The owners are amazing. Can't find a bar in St.Louis County like Hotspot. Music is the best!

Small intimate atmosphere, where music is important, and staff make you like a family. I have seen a famous international touring act twice at Hot Spot. Staff is excellent, ownership knows that music is what matters.
