My grandson started swimming since he was a toddler. Now he is 11 years ago. The instructor was excellent with him and rest of the kids that my grandson only wanted her as his teacher. They all are excellent with kids.

I don't normally post these type of post, but I'm so incredibly disappointed in Lions Club Pool management.

Today is my daughters birthday, and our family and friends came to Lions Club to celebrate.

We knew the weather would warm up closer to the evening, so we arrived at 4pm today, and expected to leave when closed, at 7pm.

We bought our tickets, and noticed there was a private birthday party to the right that was wrapping up.

We jumped in the water and started the celebration.

30min later, after the private party left, we were told by management that "due to low attendance, the pool will be closing early at 5pm".

I then said, I understand the attendance is low, but what about the people that are still here, and paid to be here?

I was told, unfortunately it's been low attendance all day, and they are going to close early because of it. The only reason why they opened was because they had a private birthday party, and then they told me they didn't have my party registered, so they were not expecting another party.

I told them, although I didn't buy a birthday package, I purchased an individual ticket for everyone in our party, so we can celebrate.

*The MOD then asked me, "well how long did you plan on staying". I told them until the closing hour, 7pm. ... while I'm thinking to myself, so this is a flexible decision?

They told me they would give a rain check for the inconvenience.

I was frustrated because, they knew they would close early when I purchased my tickets at 4pm, and DID NOT disclose the possibly closing early.

I was also shocked that they offered a rain check when the season closes next Sunday.

When I insisted for a refund, they had to make a call to the supervisor to get it approved.

I asked to speak to the supervisor, and was told they were out of office, and I couldn't speak to them.

After I insisted, I was given a refund.

The entire experience left a really bad taste in my mouth.

This is a very simple yet nice place. It has a bigger pool area with a sectioned off area for people to do laps, they have a separate kiddie pool area, concessions, and they have 3 waterside for the kids! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it's expensive for a pool.

Both of my sons take swim classes here. I've seen an improvement in their swimming ability and they really enjoy attending. There are classes for every skill level. If you have young children that need swim lessons this is a great place to take them.

This pool facility is great. The staff is nice, lifeguards are attentive and it is very clean. I have brought guests and they all comment on how well behaved the kids are too. My whole family loves it. It is one of the highlights of our summer.

Ridge Road: This is the other outdoor pool location that is still operational.

183rd Street and Governors Highway: Dolphin Lake pool closed across the street from Cherry Creek Plaza. Dolphin Lake pool did not enough funds to pay for it. So they had to close it.

My daughter had swim lessons at this place. We like the pace.

This place is the BEST place to go in the summer!! Hint-when sliding down the water slide never slide on your back. Always sit up. Lol I kinda went crazy and almost drownd but a life guard helped me out.-you should probly be able to swim to go on the slide
