Buen grano de cafe, me hubiera gustado mas "cuerpo". Igual por una extraccion desigual? Pero estaba bueno.

Atmosphere was superb. Great place to go if you need to get some quiet work/studying in and want a place to sprawl out, connect, and focus. Would be a great place to come as a group too. I ordered a cold brew and it was very tasty. Well worth visiting!

Great craft coffee shop! They have more interesting drinks, and more advanced skill at pulling quality espresso, than your typical local cafe, and the seating was generous - I wish I could have stayed longer. The massive windows let in a lot of light, making it feel very open and spacious. Friendly staff too 🙂

Limited selection of food, but what they have is very good -- had an egg and sausage biscuit that was basically egg casserole on a full size biscuit, tasted very good and was filling. Space has an art bookstore vibe, very nice. My cappuccino tasted great. Can highly recommend, we dropped by because we were staying in the Angad Art Hotel a few blocks away.

Cool spot for a coffee or bite to eat. They have a nice selection of specialty roasts and the house made orange cardamom flavor was on point. They have a nice selection of sweet treats too. There are plenty of desks if you need space to work. The staff was very nice and even brought me my drink after I went to sit down.

Disclaimer: I drink almost exclusively black coffee and espresso, so I can't speak to anything else served here.

The coffee here is excellent and I suspect it would be tough to find better. This is the kind of coffee shop I'd take someone to if I wanted to show them how good coffee can be. I had a cup of their Ethiopian blend and a double shot of their espresso. The espresso was good, only a slight bitterness to it with very pleasant acidity. But the drip coffee was the real star of the show. It is a very bright and clean cup with lots of fruity notes. If you are a real coffee nerd, you won't be dissatisfied.

As for the other things: the atmosphere is great and they have plenty of seating, I didn't interact much with the staff but they were clearly very knowledgeable about the product they serve and were friendly enough. Overall, it's a great shop, and if I lived in the area, I would come here daily.

If you want coffee AND an experience, come to High Low. It has one of the calmest, serene decors of all coffee houses in STL. Its theme centers around literature, full of bookshelves and comfy couches to read. It’s not overly loud of a setting, so if you want to do work without headphone, this is the place. Because of its design, I believe it attracts an artsier crowd who wants to read or discuss. I regularly have business meetings here unrelated to art and literature because I know I’m not surrounded by pretentious finance bros or fraternity brothers.

The coffee is pretty standard, but I can’t say much on it because my order is always bland: Hot, black coffee.

Highly recommend making this a coffee staple of yours, you’ll always leave feeling better than when you walked in.

For the love of Pete, get sugar-free syrups! Get a single sugar-free syrup. Why can coffeeshops have sixteen kinds of milk and not provide for the many folks seeking lower sugar intake, for medical or other reasons?

And that giant empty listening room you have? Could provide extra seating, since there's not enough inside or out.

Okay, gripes are out. Very good biscuit. My dining companion enjoyed his food, as well. Outside chairs are reasonably comfortable for fat people (thank you). The gallery was neat, if strange and out of context.

Prices were...okay? Except it's silly for me to go to a coffeeshop for a plain steeped tea because they don't carry sugar-free syrups.
