This is one of the best county museums I've ever been to. Suzanne was amazing. She was so knowledgeable, and told some fascinating stories. They have a large collection of artifacts, and there are some really sweet and touching connections to the county. The inside of the building feels so much larger than the outside looks. Reserve a couple hours to try to see as much as you can, it's really worth the experience. Even being from out of town, I was grateful to witness so much history, and there's such a large range covered as well. Great place to visit, if I could give 6 stars, I would. Also note, it's worth paying to see all the buildings you can.

Absolute 5 star experience. This museum is truly an unexpected gem. Staff are engaging and personable. We had a personal tour with the museum's Director Suzanne. She has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the town of Clinton and surrounding areas and all the exhibits in her care. Would highly recommend stopping in.

Biking into Clinton, my wife and I decided to try the museum. What a fantastic choice! Brenda, our tour guide, took time to show us each room, fully stocked with artifacts and was so friendly and knowledgeable of the history and stories about Clinton and the people of the local area. I highly recommend taking the family. You will not be disappointed.

Worth the 5 bucks! I was a little skeptical but they have 7 buildings and a plethora of displays. Plus a tour guide who was very knowledgeable of the area and world history. An unexpected gem. Really enjoyed our tour! If your a resident or just passing thru stop in you won't regret it.

What an excellent museum in Clinton. Well worth the visit. Our docent explained so many interesting and unique holdings and was very engaging with our little group of 4. More than a typical historical display, this place tells a story of life and times past. Easy 5 star rating!

Very rich in local history!! Tours provided set aside 2 hours for a tour!! $5 per adult for the museum $8 to include the Dorman House!! Children 12 and under are free!! Mrs. Deloizer is an excellent guide who grew up in the area!! Sorry if I misspelled her name!! We can't wait to go again!!

Excellent museum with lots of historic pieces. They have done a great job at curating some great pieces and occasionally have art exhibits that will be on display for a few weeks at a time, so there is always something new happening here. I would very much recommend that you come check this place out, especially when they are giving open tours. Very nice to have such a great museum in town.
