Me encanta este lugar porque puedo ir al gym o a la alberca y puedo dejar a mi bebé en guardería mientras práctico una actividad. Aparte me quedó muy tranquila porque cuidan muy bien a mi bebé. Todo el personal son muy amables y las instalaciones son muy limpias. 👏👍🏻

The facility and the people working there are great! Just wish they would come up with a faster way to check in the facility, we come in with our family of 5 and it takes at least 15 mins to put on wristbands and check in. It would also help reduce waste from wristbands being used daily.

My family has had passes for the heckart Center ever since they opened.

The staff are all amazing. I absolutely love the people who work here they're very personable they're so friendly.❤️🥰

So if you see that someone is complaining about the staff here, they are not being honest. Or maybe the person who wrote the negative review needs to take a good look at themselves in the mirror. I'm just being real......😅😂

We originally utilized the pool more, it's been a while and that's more of a personal thing because whenever we went to leave we would be in the family changing rooms and were already so wet and sticky and there's no air flow in there and the ground is all wet so it's like we're all sticky and wet putting on dry clothes and it was just not working for us so we needed a better routine that we just haven't figured out yet.

We go through Sedalia Parks and Recreation for our kids to play soccer it has been great and successful. I love their Athletics program it's amazing.

Every year, we do the Halloween boo bash, and it has been so fun. I honestly wish they did all of the awards in the very beginning because by the time they got to my son and he had gone through the bounce houses this year, his makeup had worn off. Again, it's just a personal preference.

I had my business at their first years craft sale it was pretty cool. I loved it! But honestly I don't think I'll do crafts sales ever again because there was just a lot of people who would show up and they just give you false hope that they're going to come back and they don't. I wish people were more honest if you really have no intentions of buying someone's product. Please don't give them the impression that you're going to come back and buy their products.
That has nothing to do with the heckart Center. The heckart Center put on an amazing affordable craft sale.

We also used to go into the kids play area where the age limit goes up to 10 but my oldest is 12 and it's just kind of hard to go in there and just have him sit down and not interact and play with his siblings so we can't utilize that area anymore.
Plus, one of the last times I was in there, there was a woman breastfeeding exposing herself. I do not have a problem with anybody breastfeeding but when I breastfed my children I never let my kids see my breast and there's ways for you to cover up where you're not fully showing your breasts in front of everybody. That was just a little bit of a personal uncomfort for me for my children to see someone else's breast. Especially since my oldest is 12. And she was showing both.

I have recently started using their gym they have a fantastic gym, and I love the walk around area. Their gym equipment is top of the line, and they have plenty for everybody. I love the NuStep machine.

I was going to the gym also on Monday afternoon after we dropped off our youngest at the Loftus center when three of our four children are out of school.
We go to Hughesville, and there's no school on Mondays. Our two older kids one who is 10 and the other who is 12, are allowed in the gym area but I have to be with them at all times, my daughter who is also with us is 7 and she can't be with us at the same time and I just didn't feel comfortable with her walking alone around the upper area without me with her so now we can't go there on Mondays and I'm honestly trying to find another gym option for us as a family because they also don't have the daycare available at that time cuz I would just drop her off there.

Could I walk around with my three kids? Yes, but it would get chaotic and very stressful, and I wouldn't enjoy it. 😂😅

Again, this is just a family problem with my family, and they've got an amazing gym. I'm able to utilize it for the rest of the week.
I really love the lady upstairs in the gym area she is so nice and so friendly it makes such a difference going to a place where everybody is so friendly they genuinely make me want to come back.

The employees are nice, it's clean, and the place has a friendly vibe. My time is usually in the pool and fitness gym, I'd recommend both.

The Heckart Community Center is NOT for the COMMUNITY. Myself and my spouse came in, paid our fees, got our little bracelets and proceeded to the locker rooms. We showered and proceeded to walk out. We were approached by 2 very rude front desk women who informed us we are NOT allowed to only shower and leave. Why we asked? Just because they said. They did not give us a legitimate answer. There are so many issues with this "policy" I can't even begin to touch on them all. Did they watch us to see what we were doing? Why are they and your facility concerned if we only wanted to use the COMMUNITY showers and go? If this is true this policy needs to be posted for all to see. There are so many reasons why members of this community may only need to use the available facilties and leave. Domestic violence, bad situations, water shut off, van living, tourism, homelessness, and so many more. This is honestly a terrible look and makes this "community" center look like they do NOT care about the community at all. I have been to many community centers across Missouri and Kansas and never ran into anything like this. What an awful policy for a "community" center to have. Also, I am a member.

Nathan the aquatics instructor is so dynamic and makes aerobics fun and encouraging! We really feel we had a workout! He will come talk to us afterwards making us feel like we are not just a number but family. We enjoy HCC center so much!

Thank you so much for a place that my large family to go and enjoy! To go do something together is highly expensive for us but this checks all boxes for my family! Fun and family membership great price! Thank you again to all the community who made this possible!

My kids and I are so very grateful for this community center. During the summer and most day off from work and school we are here. Whether I'm upstairs in the gym with one of my older girls, to the leisure pool in the mornings and the competition pool in the evenings. If being there just about every day isn't enough we sometimes will go multiple times a day. My youngest is 3yrs old and my eldest is 15. If you were to ask each one of us our opinions of the Heckart Community center the answer would be the same; we love it and are so very grateful for the many sponsors who helped make it happen.
