Always a great time had. Last-minute trip as we finally got a good day. Loads to keep the kids entertained all day. All ages. Some of the activities you have to pay for and are so worth it when you see how much fun the kids are having - and the adults.
The food is not great, the staff are very friendly and the wait on the food is really not long at all. The portions are huge but not tasty - that's just our opinion, though. That's what it's like wherever you go that has activities like this. I would recommend bringing a picnic. We did but still ran out of food!
A great day out, well worth the money. I'd say to arrive as soon as you can so you can get in at 10 am and spend the whole day. It still wouldn't be long enough! Had to drag the kids out. Oh, and just be aware that some of the paid for activities and the cafes finish at 4 pm even though the park is open till 5 pm.

Amazing farm park and plenty to do with all the family. It was raining when we went, but there was still a lot to indoors. The soft play and animal petting were really good, and the staff were approachable and friendly. It's worth the money and the visit. There are additional charges for some things when inside (train ride, little tractor ride, water bumpers).
They didn't have all the usual animals you would have at a farm either ( they had a wallaby walk through, camels, monkeys, and more!)
Definitely visit if you're in the area! (We visited when we were at the Haven site next door).

So we visited here with the kids during our stay at Craig Tara and it was a fantastic day out with lots to see and do. The whole farm park has been well thought out, with plenty of animals and children's activities. Lots of places to sit and eat your lunch, the slides and parks inside the farm park were some of the best I've ever seen. Some of the alpacas were getting a little bit frisky with each other so expect lots of.. noise from their end. The park was very clean and tidy and you have the chance to feed some of the animals too.

Went for my daughter's 8th birthday. Plenty to do and lots of animals to see. Went on the bumper boats (£2 per boat). Went on the kids quads £6 and got lost inside the giant barn. Definitely worth a visit. All pathed too so suitable for all.

Heads Of Ayr Farm is a fantastic farm with a wide variety of animals and attractions. The site is organised and clean, and the animals are cared for very well. The food from the cafe is also delicious and a must-try, especially the cakes and biscuits! We would love to visit again in the future when in Scotland. ?

Visited Heads of Ayr Farm park for the first time 2 weeks ago during our week long holiday in Ayr with my daughter and 2 grandsons ages 1 and 3. Had a variety of age appropriate things for both boys to do and they had a great time! Spent the end of our visit in their extensive inside play area that also had a nice cafe for a coffee and snack. Definitely recommend to anyone in the Ayr area with children!

We spent the whole day here when visiting through the week. We booked online first, so we saved a few quid on tickets.

There's absolutely loads to do like trampolining, rides on the quads and train, softplay, climbing on the combine, feeding the coats and seeing loads of other animals such as camels and Highland cows.

Not sure if it was a through the week thing, but the fast food place was closed and so was the ice cream cart. Not the end of the world though as the cafe near the front did hot food and some really naughty cakes and cookies.

Great day out, highly recommend a visit if you can make a full day of it.
