I showed up to the ED for concerns about an infection in my septum following the removal of my piercing a couple months back. Doctor came in the room and immediately asked me “if I even knew what necrotic meant” when I described my symptoms. Right off the bat I could tell it wasn’t being taken seriously. He said something along the lines of it could be related to a bladder infection so he ordered a ua for that, only to find out the real intentions were to drug screen me for barbiturates and meth. I’m pregnant, and not a doctor, but I know that drug screen and bladder infection screen are not the same test. He came back and told me it was a sinus infection even after tests came back negative for infection and prescribed me medication that would be harmful to take without reasoning while pregnant. 10/10 invalidating experience.

I went there after know I had a miscarriage and they told me that I was all good we move to Arkansas and they are telling me I have a blockage that why I haven't been able to get pregnant and now I'm having to go in for surgery

Saw pain management here. Dr told tall tales of how he planned to help me. Excited, I returned to my next appointment where he did occipital injections and left the room. He already knew I'd done these with ashley at the clinic and they didn't help. I got no bill besides my deductible from Ashley's clinic. From the pain management Dr? FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS he charged. Patient responsibility 400 something. Oh I had to be monitored by a nurse after (who heard my extreme unhappiness and disdain) and made sure it was safe to drive and taken into the OR. For what?! For the exact same treatment I'd already been given in a regular drs appt? I was told to come back 🤣🤣🤣.

I took my son to the ER at around nine in the evening. He was seen by Dr. Alemon, Lora (RN), and Ciara (CNA). He was having some issues breathing from his asthma. The Dr. had a chest Xray done and distributed a steroid injection. We were sent home, but we had to return the next morning and we were seen by Dr. Gills, Hailey (RN), Craig (RN), Deb (CNA), Jeremy (lab/Respiratory), Betty (lab). Everyone from the night staff and day staff was amazing/ kind and kept good spirits. I was a mess, and they did great to reassure me. Even when dealing with my panic and caring for my son they were trying to eat and never got a break to set down due to patients coming in. They deserved to be recognized for their hard work and staying positive for being over worked and not appreciated enough. I'd also like to think Bethany ambulance for the transport from Bethany to Childrens Mercy.

If there was a single other option in a fifty mile radius I would never darken their doorstep again.
Local staff are pleasant and competent, but the specialists they bring in are ridiculous. Unhelpful, uninterested, and unwilling to put forth an ounce of effort to diagnose or treat anything out of the ordinary.
This last visit really took the cake, though, when the neurologist told my wife, "Welp, looks like you've tried all the pills, so if they didn't help I'm not sure what to do for you," before promptly dismissing her and ending the appointment roughly five minutes after it began.
But hey, I'm sure we'll still be getting a bill.

I recently went to the ER and had a horrible experience with the ER doctor. He was very rude and unprofessional when speaking to me. No smiles, no positivity or even the slightest attempt to come across as caring. New employees who actually care about their patients would be wonderful. Making me cry because of how he acted was a horrible experience. I will NOT be coming back if I have any choice. I have heard bad things about this hospital, but decided to give it a chance. I regret even doing so, being treated as I was. I would not recommend this hospital. The nurses were nice, but that was the only good hospitality I was shown.

I called the ambulance and 5 min they showed up and took me to Harrison County Hospital the best staff and best treatment ever i really applause their service fast and efficient and they really do care and the suprise in the end the lady from the staff called the sheriff's to take me back to my truck (( Due to the lack of transportations in the area)) Deputy Allen was a nice guy with lots of stories to tell it was an experience to remember thank you all for your help
