Excellent service and attention to detail. I sat at the bar and ordered 2 cocktails and appetizers. The garlic shrimp and octopus were delicious! The pomegranate tequila and mezcal margarita was well-balanced.

We came here for an early dinner in late summer. The chef's special of chicken and taco starters were excellent as was the arroz pollo and fried calamari. The ambiance of a Latin restaurant (Cuban sandwich looked interesting for lunch... unfortunately not for dinner) is interesting and hopefully will continue its successful run so far. The restaurant was fairly empty in the early evening but appeared to be filling up as we left. Consider coming here the food and waitstaff are great... you won't be disappointed!

I recently visited Happy Monkey by Jean-Georges and although we didn't dine, the experience was exceptional. The drinks were absolutely fantastic, showcasing unique flavors and expert mixology. The ambiance was inviting and chic, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff making us feel very comfortable. Highly recommended for a delightful night out! Five stars!

What a beautiful restaurant on Greenwich Ave! They have a great menu and really professional servers. Favorites included the Cuban and the croquette appetizer. The pear and cranberry crumble was such a cozy dessert! I’ll definitely be keeping this spot in mind for future Greenwich visits!

Generally it was a disappointment. Nice environment and decoration. Really average food, on taste, quality and presentation. Smaller than French cuisine portion at French cuisine price. Hard to believe this was in a Mexican restaurant. Service was super slow. We asked for paper napkins for the table and got one sheet of kitchen paper towel. It was unbelievable.

From the moment I stepped into Happy Monkey, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting that perfectly complemented the décor. The attention to detail in the design made it clear that this restaurant takes pride in every aspect of the dining experience.

Alessandra greeted us at the door and showed us to our table. She was very personable and kind, checking on us throughout our experience. The service was outstanding from the start. Our server, Dillan greeted us with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. The staff’s knowledge of the menu was impressive; they offered insightful recommendations and were able to accommodate dietary preferences with ease.

Now, onto the food—each dish was a masterpiece. We began with an appetizer of Patatas Bravas as well as their Sweet Pea Guacamole and Three Salsas, DELISH! It was a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the presentation was nothing short of artistic. For dinner, we had the Heirloom Tomato Salad and the Crispy Seafood Rice, which was recommended by Dillan. He did not steer us wrong. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully plated. Every bite was heaven.

Dessert was the grand finale, and it did not disappoint. I chose the Strawberry Mango Crisp. It was refreshing and indulgent, yet perfectly balanced, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. It was the kind of dessert that lingers in your memory long after the last bite.

What truly sets Happy Monkey apart, however, is the overall experience. The combination of a stunning atmosphere, exemplary service, and exquisite food made our evening unforgettable. Whether for a special occasion or just a night out, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Five stars all the way!

I was jonesing for a delicious grilled fish taco and thrilled to learn that Happy Monkey was highly rated on the Find Me Gluten Free app. The menu was small but gave no clue that they offered gluten free. When I asked the server, though, she said they could do anything on the menu gluten free. She explained the fish taco would be grilled separately so that’s what I ordered. It was not traditional, not what I expected, but was still quite tasty. With the blue corn shell, vinegar, spice, and mint, it reminded me more of an Asian taco. Good but not what I was looking for. Plus, at $22 for 2 tacos, there was not even a garnish to make it feel a good value. The decor was fun. The host was friendly. The service was abrupt but efficient.
