Travis is an awesome instructor for both the adult and kids classes. The culture of the gym is welcoming and supportive for all. Good vibes all around.

I’m a blue belt visiting Torrington with my family from Richmond, VA. My 7 year old son and I have been dropping into classes and attending open mat all week. I am so excited that this gym is here for when we come up CT to visit.

Gracie Litchfield Hills is an awesome place to train. The instructor Travis is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to helping each student improve, no matter their skill level. The atmosphere is also always supportive with a strong sense of camaraderie among the members. Never once have I felt intimidated as a beginner. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to train in a positive and motivating environment!

I have two kids that recently started training BJJ and Coach Travis and Dave are so attentive to detail and just truly awesome. I also started training as well and am so blown away on how Coach Travis is so effective at teaching and explaining the moves. Very clean facility and great group of guys. Life changing!!!

Couldn’t be better. Travis is a wonderful teacher. The class I was at with my kids was very large and he had awesome control of the group while keeping everything engaging and light. The gym is clean and well designed, prices are super reasonable- a huge asset to the area!

This was a very positive and welcoming enviornment. Travis was as genuine and friendly as one could be. I've been training in martial arts since I was 6 years old, and I've been to many different gyms. This is definately a place you want to check out. Top notch all around. I can't wait to go back.

I had known of Coach Travis through the larger Jiu-Jitsu community and always thought highly of him as a practitioner. But after attending classes in his new facility, I was blown away. The level of care and attention is wildly evident in how prepared and well delivered his class material is. Students of all levels were grasping the concepts and feeling confident even to their own surprise. He truly has a way of communicating the lessons that is rare among teachers. For both kids and adults alike, this place is a treasure and you won’t regret making this part of your life. The facility was immaculate, new and fresh. Drop in and see what will turn into one of the best chapters of your life. If you let it. Enjoy the mats friends!

Gracie Litchfield Hills is a wonderful experience in BJJ. Coach Travis is a patient and wonderful instructor! I am recommending his classes to anyone at any age. I'm 65 and loving it.

I dropped in recently and was very impressed with the whole operation. The place is VERY clean, I got a lot out of the class, and got some good rolls in. What more could you want? I will definitely come back when I am in the area. 10/10 would recommend.
