I started coming to Gost Coffee for the cozy atmosphere, hoping to enjoy a peaceful place to read. While the coffee is usually great, I decided to try something new today, but it seemed to be made incorrectly—it tasted nothing like the flavors it was supposed to have, caramel & toffee crunch, just watered-down espresso. I didn’t want to make a fuss and tried to drink it, but every sip was bland and disappointing.

When I politely asked if I could switch drinks, the cashier turned to ask someone, and a girl in a pinkish top with brown hair dismissively said, “Typically, no.” The cashier then simply told me no.

It’s disappointing that they wouldn’t accommodate a customer who had already spent $8 on a drink they clearly disliked. Looks like I’ll be heading to Grounded Coffee from now on for my reading sessions.

P.S. The owner and staff should learn to value their customers and the money spent here—otherwise, I imagine business will slow down quickly. Maybe they should just focus on pizza instead.

I was blown away by this coffee shop. The people working there were very friendly and knowledgeable of their product. The decor was interesting and all of the places to sit were unique. I ordered 5 berry Oatmeal and a regular coffee. It was delicious. It was a very awesome experience & I will be making a future trip soon. Thank you, Gost Coffee for making my day off a very delightful one. You guys rock!!☕️🤙

I cannot say enough good things about Gost coffee. You definitely taste the love and care in every cup. They’re the same prices as the big chains but the quality is double of what the big chains offer. Places like Gost are important, independent shops. They get my business 100%. I get my fresh beans from them, and stop in for a cup whenever I can on the go. Best coffee around.

Great unique coffee roastery that we happened to run across while on a garden walk. Tried the nitro cold brew which was fabulous. The bakery items and light sandwiches looked great though only had coffee. There was a plant class going on in the back which looked fun. The place is funky and quirky with many quiet places to sit and enjoy.

This coffee shop is so good! The atmosphere is so cool, tons of local art for sale! The coffee is also incredible. My husband and I both got cold brew coffee and loved it. I was even able to get pistachio in mine and that’s my favorite flavor at Starbucks but you can only get it for a few months there so I was super excited to have it here! The shop is tucked away, I drove past it at first but once you pull in it’s definitely hard to miss. The theming is so on point! It’s also very spacious. Lots of seating in the back including couches and soft chairs. Lots of outlets too if you want to study or work. We will definitely be back!

The best place in surrounding tows for coffee and heres why:

Coffee/Drinks: Their coffee and lemonade are great! Easily the best around. Easily customizable, great tasting syrups and lots of milk alternatives. They also have their coffee beans for sale if you feel inclined to take some home!

Price: Priced around the same, or even cheaper than the go-to coffee chains in the area, except they taste better and have more options.

Pizza: Yes, they have pizza! Again, great price for a large pizza. It tastes even better than it looks. It was hot, crispy, and fresh. They said it was the first time pineapple pizza ever came out of their oven (lol! Yes, pineapple belongs on pizza!).

Atmosphere:
Endless seating options with stools, couches, and chairs. Very comfy and doesn't feel crammed at all. The plants and decor make the place feel at home. Great music and it wasn't too loud between that and the people talking. You can easily find a great spot to read a book, work on your laptop, or hang out with friends. Everyone working was super friendly and accommodating.

Other: They sell stickers, mugs, other food items, such as bakery items and mini cakes, shirts, markers, and spray paint. They also have a gratitude book that you can sign. Truly unique spot in New Lenox!

Such a neat place! Great coffee and tasty pastries. Super chic decor. Fun uplifting experience. The owner is a real coffee roasting master not some BS chain coffee here! Also has Pizza di Farfalla in house!!!

This place is a hidden gem! A little adventure to find but worth it. Daniel is an amazing owner and host to his shop. Very nice man and extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee related. You can enjoy a fresh brewed drink and purchase coffee from around the world. By far the best espresso I've enjoyed. Small but cozy atmosphere with Orland Park Bakery sweets on site. Definitely will be back!
