This is another wonderful classic American diner. Certainly worth taking a few minutes off the interstate to get to. There are 20 stools for seating that surround a long counter. Since 1948 they have been serving great old fashioned smashed burgers. The double cheeseburger was excellent. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. The fries are good and the smaller cut style. You watch all your food being cooked just a few feet away from your seat. The homemade lemonade was delicious. A quaint atmosphere with fun, talkative, friendly service. The staff enjoy their jobs and endeavor to provide your food quickly. Highly recommend. Oh, it's cash only. ATM available onsite.

Went here for lunch today with a couple of friends. It was a recommendation from some people who live in Crystal City. It was not too crowded and was able to sit inside. Staff was friendly and professional. Waitress took out order as soon as we sat down. Are food arrived quickly and tasted good. If it was closer to where I work, I would go here more often. Clean and bright inside.

The best and most authentic burger in the US. It’s old fashioned look creates a ambiente just as shown in the movies. I recommend the double cheeseburger.
If you don’t want to/can‘t eat gluten, just go to Culver’s on the other side and get a gluten free bun for just $1,33 and tell the stoplight staff to use it instead.

Great local greasy spoon.

My husband loves their chili. I highly suggest everyone in the area give it a try.

They are cash only! Don't worry they do have an ATM in case you don't have cash on hand.

Absolutely the best burgers in town!! At a good price as well. Staff is super friendly old school diner feels. Just make sure you bring cash.

Its been well over 30 years since I last ate at Gordon's. My oldest brother was a carhop here back in the 50's. I proposed to my now ex wife back in 1977, delirious from consuming four Jumbo (slaw) burgers.
During my recent visit, I was impressed that, though the burgers appeared to be a bit smaller and MUCH more expensive, tasted just like I remembered. Their burgers and fries are second to none!

This places’ burgers are the best. I had the “Double Jumbo” burger and it's delicious. The coleslaw and BBQ sauce made the Burger. I paired the burger with a Vanilla milkshake. The service was quick and good. Highly recommend this place. Will visit again.

We found a hidden gem in Crystal City today. Gordon's Stop Light has the juiciest flavorful burgers, all cooked right behind the counter. Homemade shakes and their french fries are better than McDonald's. Onion rings were ho and crispy too. Definitely will be back!
