It is a great place to do pictures for homecoming or prom . It's a wonderful place just to go for a walk even to do a little fishing. But sometimes it's nice just to get away and relax. Great place for a family picnic. Wonderful family events take place here all the time. Go to the Alton Park and rec page. You can sign up for all different activities and sports events for your kids, for all ages.

We love it at Gordenmoore park. We fish 4x a week down there. We get lots of little fish an that's about it but we sure have f Un doing so

Our favorite part of this park is the gorgeous rose garden with the carillon. There is a hosta path along one side and that is pretty too, especially when they're in bloom in June. The Oriental garden is also nice, with small waterfalls and cute bridges.

A great place for families to spend time, especially with little ones.
Lots of space to let them run.
There is a playground set up for special needs children.
Several playgrounds in this park, you can move around.
Bring extra clothes and a towels and let the kids enjoy the water fountain.
Great place for picnics.

There is a lake to fish and a bridge to take great pictures on.

As always beautiful park; however, many things have gone without repair and look run down which is very sad. Especially the bridge connecting one side of the park with the other. It is actually closed with a sign saying to not enter the bridge because it is dangerous. Still one of my favorite places but needs more attention. But, the play equipment for young children is perfect and very appreciated!

Beautiful park with a little of everything. Beautiful scenes if you walk or run. Flowers gardens (large rose garden), gazebos, bridges and a lake (you can even fish). A golf course if you're into that. Do you like frisbee golf? They have that too. Great looking ball fields and they just added some gorgeous soccer fields. Finally, they have numerous playgrounds, including inclusive playgrounds for those with physical disabilities. It's just a great all around park.

I used to love taking my kids to this park but it has gone down hill over the years. They built a new park up front which is nice and keep the baseball fields nice, keep the flower garden going but neglect the bridge in the back that needed to be repaired or replaced many years ago and still is a danger to walk across on.
