Very nice how they redid the inside of the place. Finally tried it for my special man’s birthday. Adorable that the check comes in the book that you can also sign/leave notes. Food was good, would not be my first choice for Italian in T-Town though. I did not like how the male, must of been owner or manager, spoke to someone picking up food - he basically yelled at him & told him he had to wait outside. Just not enjoyable to watch.

I was not expecting to find a place like this in downtown Torrington. I was blown away by the entire experience. The food, service, decor, charm...all 10/10. Best steak I have had in years. Highly recommend and better than meals I have had at 2x the price.

We had an incredible time at Gepetto! First off the atmosphere is cozy and warm and feels like you are in an Italian Osteria. The servers and staff were prompt, courteous, attentive and knowledgeable!!! We had the stuffed quail which was cooked perfectly. Filled with sausage almonds and mortadella the delicate flavors all worked with the quail. The port reduction added depth! The burrata and pear with endive was delicious.
Our mains included the must try agnolotti with braised short rib with mushrooms! Delicate pasta cooked perfectly, surrounded succulent short rib!

The garganelli was spicy! Loved that! Not for the faint of heart. It's heat was balanced with incredible pasta and a delicious sauce!

I highly recommend Gepetto! I will be back for sure!!

Absolutely perfect! I could not have asked for a more perfect evening. Food = Perfect, Service = perfect even the patrons (Glen) = Perfect. Thank you for having and feeding me. I'm sorry the pics have bites missing, but I could wait to get my fork involved.

Staff was attentive, food was amazing. My coctail (paper plane) was made well, and an extensive Grappa menu. It is a bit loud, so that might be the only issue for some.

It's refreshing to have a place like Geppettos in Torrington serving up amazing dishes.
The food was excellent, staff was friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting.
Definitely make reservations, fills up quickly on the weekends.
Parking is in the back and easy to walk from .

Delicious Italian food in Torrington!!! The ambience is quaint and cute while the cuisine is delectable. Highly recommend the trio of crostini, which was unique with flavors!!! The entrees were very satiating and the dessert was delightful. The courtesy digestif made of myrtle berry was also a nice touch at the end of the meal. Do yourself a favor and check out this restaurant, it will not disappoint!

Old school Tuscan seaside. Imagine eating near Pisa at an upscale trattoria. Dishes an Italian mom or dad might put together. Atmosphere was friendly relaxed and servers and excellent. Food arrived appropriately. Choose an antipasto, salad, first plate and second for a lot of food. I went mussels and it’s crostini, a nice old school tuna, potato salad. And ended with a pasta dish similar to gnocchi but ricotta based. Came with 5 incredibly filling. Tiramisu is as light and not overlay sweet so very good. Cappuccino was good but can be improved. That was it. Well worth making this a stop for a couple or with kids. Small bar looked comfortable maybe 8 seats with side tables overlooking street. Outside seating 3 tables surrounded by flowers to separate from traffic. Parked across bridge but there is also parking in street.
