We went to dinner at the Gelston House last night. The food was delicious (crab cakes, sordfish, steak, coffee with bailey's). The service was great. The manager came over to our table and talked to us for a bit, a very nice guy, everyone was very pleasant. The restaurant was packed, and food was delivered promptly. Beautiful building and clear view of the river. We will come back.

Was not able to order a cheeseburger in the main dining room while my wife ordered a complete dinner. I’ve done this for 15 years before we enjoy a play at Goodspeed. New manager and no one cared. Long time customers. UNBELIEVABLE!

I am vegan so in all fairness they were not that accommodating. Nothing on menu for vegan. So improvise was a Beyond burger with cooked onions, tomato and lettuce for $19 (my choice I do not eat the bun).
I asked them to add mushrooms to the cooked onions but that never materialized. As usual a thimble of wine for $12.

Went there for an early evening meal. Not crowded. Party of four in our group. The appetizers bang bang shrimp and calamari we good. Two of us ordered the “special”: blackened grouper. The grouper dishes arrived about 10 minuted before the rest of our party. The blackened grouper was more like grouper with a soggy breading of sorts and a sweet mango salsa. About as far from blackened as you can get. We mentioned our concern to our waitress who said she would check with the kitchen but she never followed up. We were hungry and so proceeded to eat. It was quite a pricey dinner and I doubt we will return.
