Walked my dogs here and we had a blast. Seems to be pretty popular, lots of runners and bikers the day on the 4th of July when I was there. There are lots of interesting plants to enjoy and photograph. Only partly shaded, so bring your sunnies. There is a creek about 1.5 miles from Joplin entrance, in which my dogs really enjoyed playing/swimming mid walk. Be careful of shoe choice - the gravel is super dusty, and check everyone for ticks after!

Absolutely love this trail. Great job on the entire length. Highly recommend this trail. Photo of workmen installing People and Pet water fountain! A great addition to the wonderful trail!

I love walking here!! So much shade and the trails are rarely super busy. Moderate walk to the bridge and water which is fun to stop at! I love taking my pup out here for walks and everyone respects the leash law and I’ve never had any issues with other pups. Trails are very clean and easy to walk.

Great trail! Varies from shady to sunny (sunny intervals are short, at least during the fist mile from the E. North St. trailhead). That trailhead with a lot of parking spaces is a few blocks west of N. St. Louis Ave., immediately west of the railroad trax.

This trail is amazing. It's flat, well maintained, popular but not crowded, links Webb City with Joplin via foot and bike , feels like you're out in the boonies but you're not, and it's long enough to get a good distance in. The downside sad part is that a fair number of unhoused people live along it. As far as I know, there isn't a problem with crime, and I didn't detect any unhealthy situations (like waste or drugs), but the people and their camps are there.

Nice scenic walking trail. Parking at both ends. Approximately 1 mile round trip. No bathroom facilities.

Beautiful trail, perfect for jogging, riding your bike, or just taking a walk. Our dogs loved it too. Lots of wildlife!! Remember to wear bugspray though!
