Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights for a fishing trip . Floors were sticky, the soap was the size of a fun size candy bar . The towels were so thin you could see through them . 2 staffers barely spoke English and it was hard to communicate. I asked for another roll of toilet paper and the staffer was hesitant to give me one. We stayed the first night and the guys left early to fish. Got a call around 9:30 am that the coast guard announced big waves , severe storms to get off the water trip canceled . Went to hotel and spoke with a man and asked to cancel the second night because we were all leaving . He called the owner and put me on the phone with him. Explained what happened and he said he would refund the second night to all 3 rooms. Driving back I got a call from the one staffer who did speak clearly and he said the owner called him and was only giving 1/2 the refund. I explained what he told me and his reply was” oh, you know so much more than I do! “ everything I said , he repeated that! There were no cancellation policies posted in the lobby or website. I contacted my credit card and I am fighting the second night! Please read all reviews and do not stay here! I think some are relatives ( the good comments)! There are other safer, cleaner , and friendlier motels near by!

Sketchy location and surroundings, wasn't allowed to check in early because they had "30" rooms to clean yet our room had dirt on the floor still and the shower had soap stains and hair still in it, not to mention the shower curtain had some stains and gunk on it. There didn't appear to be bed bugs and I did get the extra towel I asked for easily enough. Overall, I would not stay here again and would rather pay double the amount for the sake of safety and cleanliness.

I cant say anything good. We were in the room for 5 minutes total. Upon entering we saw a huge yellow stain on the white sheet then went to the bathroom sink and there were two bugs crawling in the sink. Started to brush it off since we traveled all day but then noticed small black spots on the beds that were moving and jumping, they were definitely alive and either fleas or bed bugs I'm not sure. When we pulled the blankets back there were hairs and spots all over the sheets and we noticed more black moving bugs. There were bugs of sorts all over the bathroom wall and in the corners of the ceiling. We immediately grabbed our things and ran out. The front desk offered a new room which we obviously declined and then offered to clean the room we just left and we said absolutely not. Refund was refused and we were forced to pay over 300.00 for one night to stay last minute somewhere else. I have been to some crazy places and never seen a room so gross nor left immediately. This ruined the plans we had for my daughters birthday and cost us alot of extra money. This was room 129 BEWARE! DON'T DO IT! I couldn't even stay in long enough to take pictures because I was so grossed out when something jumped on and off of my daughter's pillow she carried in. Extremely disappointed and upset ?

Do yourself a favor and do not even think about staying here. It is non refundable for a reason. After being in the room for about an hour trying to get it to cool down because it was like a furnace and the ac kept shutting off we decided to lay down. The sheets had all kinds of yellow stains so I decided to throw my beach towels over top the bed and make it thru the night because again it was non refundable and we had been driving for hours it was now after 10 pm and we had a super early fishing trip leaving at 4 am. After just a few minutes of laying down we notice spider webs in the corners of the room, there is a toilet paper roll stuck under the ac unit to apparently hold it up and there is toilet paper stuck in the fire sprinkler in the roof. Then, we immediately both had bed bugs crawling on us. We jump up and are like no we are not staying here another minute we will sleep in the truck if we can’t find anywhere else to stay. I grab my bag and there is literally a bed bug on my bag strap. We go the the front desk and explain where Jay offers us another room and we were like absolutely not staying with bed bugs and filth. Jay refuses any refund from both myself and Expedia. Expedia should not allow this person to list on Expedia knowing the conditions of this hotel and absolutely should require them to refund when conditions are unsafe and unsanitary to stay here. So beware of this property and Expedia because they will not stand behind you. We found a room at moorings marina it was $300 for the night but clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Needed a room for one night for a fishing trip. Wasn't going to get to town until later in the evening and would be leaving around 4am so my girlfriend and I went for the cheap option of rooms in Carrabelle. Huge mistake. We arrived at 830pm and got in our room. The first problem was the AC barely worked (pretty sure the owner has the thermostat rigged so it doesn't get cold), I figured I'd just deal with it. Checked the sheets and there were several yellow stains on the, told myself I'm tired, I'll just sleep fully clothed on top of the comforter. Shortly after laying down I felt something on my forehead...it was a bed bug. I immediately got up and gathered my things noticing several more while doing that. Confronted the staff and they denied a refund. Ended up getting a room at the moorings for the night. Our mistake was not reading reviews before booking. The staff/owners are filthy, dishonest people. Don't give them any money... unless you're okay with spending the night with bedbugs in a hot room.

Well, we didn’t have to sleep in our car…but that’s about as positive as I can be about this place. The room smelled like the ganja, and there were mystery smears on the bathroom walls. I’m still carrying some PTSD from having to use that shower…which I did and then realized we had 0 towels in our room. JJ was really helpful but I would never recommend this place. The Carrabelle Hotel (where we moved over to) was such a wonderfully delightful alternative.
