⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for meteor watching. It was the fall of 23 with the Perseids meteor shower reaching its peak. There are some excessively bright security lights in the campground that inhibit stargazing. The management was kind enough to turn off these lights so we can spend a night in the field stargazing.Perseids remnants were viewed as well as a bonus the space station and additional meteors. The weather cooperated as well as the management. It was a very enjoyable event. My compliments to management for understanding our special requests and complying. I suggested this become a advertised event (stargazing) at different times throughout the months. Good job Fox recreation.

We camped here 3 nights and found the place could use some tender loving care to make it less junkie. Some lots were immaculate, most lots were overgrown and unsightly. This place could be cleaned up and be beautiful|with a little work. Across from the spot we stayed was an abandoned trailer with no door. We were unable to access the wifi.|On the positive side, the staff we interacted with were wonderful and very accommodating, which made us feel welcome. Love the lady who took our reservations and checked us in. We like the fact that it was gated and easy to find. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean.|Overall, it was not horrible, but for the same cost we stay at campgrounds that are well maintained, park like settings with full hookups.

Beautiful place to visit a very nice place to visit or to possibly buy a camper and stay there right on the river here we have a nice little quiet little store with miscellaneous items used and new for sale, it was nice to come by here last week the man was selling pumpkins p right out of the back of his truck

We drove 10 hours to visit family to this campground. It is very run down, people do not take care of their sites. Grass is long, water didn’t work in the morning, mosquitos are horrible! There is nothing really to do other than swim. Older lady at the office was very nice! Would not recommended anyone staying here.

We have been here for 4 years now. We love it there at Fox River Recreation. Everyone is nice and place is clean and kept up nice too. Never had problems and will continue to go there.
