Okay, so this is a weird one. We went 2 different Tuesday nights.
First night was fantastic. Everything was perfect & the prices are good.
Second night was so different. All 3 of us ended up having diarrhea the next day so I called to give them a heads up, just in case it was linked to something there (it was the only thing we ate that day), but the guy didnt understand anything we were saying so I just gave up trying to explain. Im serve safe certified and have worked in the service industry all my life so I dont blame them any for it happening, but their response to my call was off putting.

We had the miso soup (absolutely delicious), fried ragoon, and 2 rolls, the California & Crazy (sub cucumber for cream cheese on both). The 2nd time we went, the rolls looked a bit "messy" if that makes sense, and didnt taste quite right. Id probably give them another try since the first time was just so good, but I doubt I will due to the phone call.

Yikes. Second time here and I will say this time sealed the nail in the coffin. We had a party of 7, our server didn’t read back our order which would have been nice to ensure what we ordered was correct. Sadly she did not which resulted in us getting a sushi deluxe instead of the sashimi deluxe, upon arrival we noticed the six California roles which clearly was NOT part of a 20 piece sashimi deluxe. Not once did the server ask how the food is, we just ate it and paid. There won’t be a next visit so I hope if there’s someone reading this, please make sure your server reads you back your order to avoid any mishaps. Also my Hawaiian poke was mediocre at best ?

My daughter asked if she could pick dinner one night while we were down here on vacation. We said yes and she said, "Sushi!" OK, it was sushi. Being from Indiana I had no idea where to go so I hopped on Google. Fin's rated very well and the photos told us it was exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere is very laid back and casual. It made for a relaxing meal and good conversation. We tried 3 different rolls and none of us could pick our favorite. They were all amazing. We also tried their crispy crab rangoon, spring rolls, and calamari. What a great place with great food! We couldn't have been happier with the service. Very attentive and prompt. Would definitely be a regular stop for us if we lived here.

We love Fin's Island so we thought we would try this location tonight. We ordered edemame and softbshell crab as appetizers. The edemame looked old, microwaved and wrinkled. The color was less than bright green. The crab tasted like the fry oil was old. The urchin and Quail shots were very good but the unagi was very soft and no crispy - which we think make unagi so delicious. Our waitress was a darling and service was spectacular!
