A real shame this place is closing. There is a woman who really cares about this place, and the company in general named Missy that works here. She was EXTREMELY kind, informative, and helpful to us when we visited. This company will have a great loss when they finally part ways with her. A total shame to see this place closing. It's nice to go to a "video store" like I did growing up. This closing is a great loss to the entire community.

This was a great place to rent videos. OMG, so big, spacious, clean and great selection. The young lady who helped us. Ali, was very helpful, especially explaining to us about CBD products. I'm moving up there in 3 weeks, definitely going to be a regular customer!

Very disappointed on the customer service that I received multiple times when I rented movies. The ladies are nice and they are very quick to answer questions. But there is a younger gentleman. Skinny guy in the Belvidere store that always has an attitude. He is always short with customers and myself. I have not gone to rent movies all that much just to bypass dealing with this gentleman. He has no hospitality or kindness. He is always in a rush to push people out the door. The whole idea on selling CBD oil in the video store itself is a bad thing in my opinion. It takes away the whole family atmosphere of wanting to rent that family movie on Friday or Saturday night. Other than that not bad on prices when renting or buying.

Forget Redbox! Go to Family Video instead! Friendly staff and a great selection of older and newer movies and good selection of video games. If you rent a lot of movies or games don’t forget the half off promo, you really can save some money. I appreciate they are keeping the building much cooler this summer.

I'll give them 2 stars grudgingly. I rarely rented movies from them as the selection didn't seem to be that great and anything I can get there I can also rent via streaming and not have to deal with a trip to return it. I used them primarily to rent video games for my child. Problem is every time I rented one it was either all scratched and/or covered in greasy fingerprints. Then the employees act as if you are bothering them if you ask them to clean the disk, even when we were the only customers in the store. I could never understand why they can't check the disks as they are returned and clean them if they were nasty. For that matter they could post it and charge a reasonable fee for having to clean dirty games and movies. I personally don't need to give my money to a place that obviously doesn't value their customers.

You wouldnt think a video store would survive these days, but this place is awesome. They have so many deals and incentives. That popcorn they sell is soo good too. Its always super clean and the workers are super nice

Nice sign up deals. Wish they had a few more movie options but it was a very nice gentleman who was informative and helped us out. Need better movie and game choices
