I had a WONDERFUL experience at escapology, mainly because of the employees!! Will, Molly, and Nellie made my experience AMAZING, they were so kind and remembered us everyday we came back (which may have been 5 days in a week because it was so fun). I truly had a great time talking to these employees every time I went in, they were so kind and so gracious that we kept coming back. Not to mention the rooms were fabulous, very clean, and highly detailed. Each adventure was fun and tricky, luckily we had the help of the extraordinary employees to give us hints along the way! This place was phenomenal and I would highly recommend going, I’m already planning my trip back for next year!

We absolutely love this place! Visiting from Boston, we had such a fantastic experience on our first night that we kept coming back—five nights in a row!

From the moment you walk in, the décor is stunning, setting the perfect atmosphere. The games are thoughtfully designed, intricate, and so much fun to navigate. It’s clear how much creativity and effort go into crafting each room.

The staff was outstanding—huge thanks to Will, Molly, and Nellie for their help and enthusiasm. Highly recommend!

Emily and Will were our main point of contacts through our game. They were great with explaining everything to the guest in our party who never did an escape room. Super friendly and welcoming to our whole group!

Escapology is clean (waiting lounge & escape rooms), the games are fun, always a fun experience! We like that our group had a private room….this location was chosen for this reason because who likes sharing germs with strangers.

Had a great experience! The decoration as soon as you walk in is amazing and the games are elaborate and fun to go through. It is noticeable how much thought and creativity goes into making the rooms. The staff was also great and very helpful. We had Nellie and Molly working with us and they were both very sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend!

In a one week trip to Illinois I spent FIVE nights at Escapology downers grove. I had the best time. The rooms were incredible and I had fun in every single one, but what made my experience truly memorable is the extraordinary staff. Molly, Will, and Nellie are the nicest people, every time we went in they remembered us and gave us a welcoming smile. I cannot wait to go back during my next trip!

We had an amazing time at Escapology in the Lost City room! The puzzles were creative, the atmosphere was immersive, and the experience was a blast from start to finish. We managed to escape with 18 minutes left, but not without a few well-timed hints when we got stuck. Nelly was fantastic—she knew exactly when to step in and give us just enough guidance without giving too much away. All the staff were incredibly kind and personable, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and challenging adventure! We’ll definitely be back to try another room.
