Absolutely the best Chinese food in in E. St. Louis. First time I ate here was back in 2000. I order shrimp fried rice. It was so good that I ate it in the lobby. I’ve been hooked ever since. The staff is super friendly, I’ve been knowing them for a long time because I come here every week. I know the owner Apple Jack and most of his staff. Super nice and appreciate my business.

Best rice in the Midwest region for sure! They always answer the phone, and have the food hot and ready in a short amount of time. I always get the egg foo yung with chicken wings and crab Rangoon. Chef’s kiss! ?

The flavor is okay, but the rice is mushy and soggy. If I had to compare them to Youngs, I would say Youngs has better-fried rice and shrimp egg foo young. EastSide Chop Suey egg foo young was watery, and the flavor wasn't there like Youngs. I ordered each person a box of rice totaling over $100.00, and we all felt the rice texture was soggy. It's edible, but I wouldn't splurge as I did.

When you get this good you have to expand on your business can't fit a entire city inside of a tite section & parking needs to be bigger so that only means that orders have to shoot out under 4 mins call ins included. Need more info from the best in the Midwest fill free to contact me ⭐✨✨✨✨

I don’t wanna be that person but if you’re like a picky person then you probably wouldn’t like the texture of the rice here. I got ham fried rice, a large box and uh the texture is terrible but it tastes fine enough for me to swallow but the texture is awful lmao, but I’m just that picky of a person. But I was high when I went and the customer service was pretty nice, it was a nice environment lmao. Bad texture tho ?

Hands down Thee BEST rice in the metropolitan St Louis area! I drive from Saint Louis to get their food The sweet and Sour shrimp are delicious Rice is so good you really dont have to put anything in it and they have the option to get wontons on your combination plate which I love. I also like the fact that they have the buzzers that go off when your food is ready so no guess work!

These people scam me out of $10. My irder was $20.55 for a plain rice no meat, not pork, just onions. They charge me for a special. I told them that wasn’t right because I wanted no meat. They said they charged me wrong, and gave me $6 dollar. And remade my food. It still had meat in it, I told them that wasn’t right. They got an attitude saying there is no meat, but It was infact pork in there. They said you either want the food remade or your money back. I said I wanted the food remade, but once they gave me attitude, I said I wanted a refund. They only gave me $6. Do the math and you tell me if I got scam.
