So far so good called several times to make sure I had all the information I needed. No wait for an answer someone answered immediately each time I called. The final person I talked to was about to get a little out of line, but we had a decent conversation after she realized that I only needed to make sure I had all of the information I needed to complete the process of getting my personal property taxes straightened out. Thanks again to the staff for a fairly decent customer service experience!

I had my second court hearing and the Judge didn't hear my case; wasn't taking any explanation. He took an oath to give me a fair hearing; guess it didn't mean anything to him. I feel I was racially profiled and I emailed the Mayor and plan to send a letter to the Bar Association. The Judge and the Officer were making eye contact to if this was true. A guy pulled in front of me causing me to avoid an accident in my 2017 Frontier going up hill. How can you go 75 going up hill? I didn't see a radar reading. And my daughter was with me as a witness. Maybe they can use the money I have to pay and put that Officer on a diet plan.

On the last possible day before late fees on property taxes, the qless wait system was great and I highly recommend downloading the app instead of just waiting on texts. The person who helped me at this location was great. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding and she got my multiple issues solved very quickly.

This is the most ridiculous process. My mother has been trying to get her personal property taxes taken care of since she moved from clay back into jackson county. Finally, after three months she waited in line ALL DAY LONG. She is 70 years old and this is a ridiculous process for people who don't know how to use technology. Nobody could answer her questions over the phone or at the counter without having a place in line.. She was treated rudely by some of the staff. They are lucky i wasnt there. I was at work. This process needs a process improvement asap. My mom reported that the elderly people were stuck there all day. People in walkers and wheelchairs. No food, water, or inside bathrooms were available. Is this how we treat our elders? Unreal. Come on Jackson county get it together!!!

We have a beautiful walk in wedding chapel in the Northland of Kansas City with no appointments required on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Noon-6pm called Your Magical Day. Our elopements are the cheapest in town and we offer free witnesses. My husband Chris is the Minister there and we get Jackson County couples all of the time. We have worked with the Recorder of Deeds for many years now and have found them to be very accomodating, super fast and they permit couples to return the license themselves getting the certified copy immediately. Many counties do not offer that option. Highly recommend.
