We have been swimming. But I think people forget that customer service is a real thing. Not that it's a privilege to swim, it's been paid for and now we have become customers, we paid for a pass (even considering most of our kids would be free with their age.) Some lifeguards don't seem to like their job, others are sweet and wonderful to be around. However, the boss (who shows up on his golf cart) has a real issue with needing to flex his authority. It's a little ridiculous. Being a citizen of this city, I am shocked at the lack of community and customer service with this location. We may just go to Galena next summer. People forget that most people look at reviews when they want to experience a new place to them. And it's the only way to share YOUR experience with others. So I'm giving two stars, the water is fine. When you're trying to give your kids a fun summer, it becomes difficult when the location can be so fickle. There are a lot of other great places to visit with your family.

Love the swimming pool. It's small and clean. Lots of lifeguards. Two low diving boards and a small slide and a few fun water "toys" in the pool for little kids. My kids and I have been going to this pool for years. Great pool especially for younger kids.

Good snackbar. Hot showers in the restroom.

For a city park, the park on grounds is kept up and clean, too.

Nice secluded park. Disc golf course is really coming together. Look forward to all the improvements that I can see are in progress. Hope they don't cut down the grandfather trees on the large ravine hole.

The pool was so nice and the kids had a great time! Softball 🥎 Batting Practice out at the park there too.

Beautiful park- wonderful for family outings. Playground equipment for children, have grills to cook on, picnic tables, tennis courts, clean restrooms, an awesome, fun (and peaceful) setting.

Nice pool. Well maintained. Inconsistencies with hours. Staff frequently close early and run out of food. Would love more predictable hours which would make it more enjoyable.
