This is a great public library in Downers Grove. The parking lot is right downtown and always has spots available even though it’s next to the train station. There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of selections of books and you can find all sorts of music and different types of media here. The librarians are extremely kind and the vibe is what you would typically expect from the library. It is nice and quiet to do study work and there is plenty of meeting rooms to collaborate with a group. I enjoy coming here every so often for various types of reasons. It is very comparable to other public library‘s in the area in terms of how much you can find in the place. If you’re looking to study or find some good books this is the place to be.

We are sadly surprised to see kids playing shooting games at our library. With the excuse that it’s their Roblox account and that parent was OK with that, it is acceptable and welcomed by the library workers to enhance and accept this games: today fun tomorrow tragedy!
Ps: Tracy and the other kids area workers were ok with the sooting gaming since “ there is other worse content in books and apps which it has violence and that’s ok, too!”

Not really a library meaning a place to study or read, they probably should relabel it as a homeless help center or community outreach center. If ur a student intending to study probably don’t come here if you don’t want homeless people coming up to you and chatting their life away, or running into them shaving in the bathroom. I’m all for this but it’s misleading to people who want to come use a library for you know it’s books. 2/5 cuz it still provides books and chairs. -1 for social setting, -1 for cleanliness, -1 for its parking

Not a 5 star library when you're alienating community members who pay your way

Was a great place but now the illegal immigrants/gang members use it as a temporary shelter during the day. Lots of gang symbols in their tattoos (impossible to miss when they're on the face) & not one female or child.
