It was decent. The meals were delicious, the appetizer platter was a mixed review. The guy seating us didn't say a word to us and just ran ahead. We were confused if we were supposed to follow, but he was just standing next to a seat waiting for us. Would have been nice to have some instructions. On the appetizers, the onion rings were by far the best thing. The potato skins had a ton of bacon, but they weren't very warm, the cheese was a bit crusty. The cheese sticks weren't gooey at all. The chicken tenders were very dry and could have used some sauce, but we only got marinara and sour cream. For meals, I ordered the Philly steak sandwich. It wasn't shredded beef like normal, but it was actual steak cut into strips. Very good and fresh. Lots of onions on it. My partner got the all you can eat catfish but they didn't even finish the first plate so we didn't test that out. It was also very good though and came with two sides.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Long story short, my family & I are not from here an this was our first visit. It was 7pm, roughly. Walk in, got greeted & seated fairly quickly. 20 minutes pass, nobody has even come to order our drinks! But there were people had been seated AFTER us an had gotten to order & got their beverages before us, and we had been sitting there for quite some time. I will never waste my time here again. Terrible.

We stopped with a party of 4 and were seated immediately despite it being busy. The menu was very extensive with literally something for everyone. Our group had fried chicken, Reuben sandwiches and burgers. The vegetable soup was great. Typical Midwest comfort food done very well and at reasonable prices. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

My favorite restaurant in town. Atmosphere is always great. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is spectacular. Prices are not expensive at all for the amount you get

The negative comments had me nervous, thankfully reality won and the lunch was great. Liver and onions oh yeah. O rings not the best buy service and atmos top notch.

Easy to find and get to. Seated quickly and the place seemed clean. They got our drinks quickly, I had Pepsi and the ladies had water. I got a hamburger steak with two fried eggs over easy. The wife got an omelette with hash browns. The orders were large so it should be plenty to eat. Our waitress kept our glasses full and was very nice about taking on my glass refills. I would come back

I don't remember our servers name but she did a great job. They were very busy. we ordered a sample plater, Chicken strips, mozzarella stick & homemade ranch was great! Onion rings were soggy & full of grease. The potato skins cold, rubbery, microwaved? The tenderloin was similar to a frozen "porkie" cutlet from the grocery store & is just as thin and tasteless. The Frisco burger was pretty bad, obviously frozen patty, tasted freezer-burnt, on toasted white bread. Our food looked great....but it was Vile! The place was clean and packed with people, I was amazed.....we tried each other's food to make sure we weren't crazy! We left without eating, our server offered it to us for free, but paid & tipped her because she really tried to help.

Wow! This place was recomemded by my Mother in Law about a month ago. We've never been to Kirksville as we live in Seymour IA its about an hour and a half away but we came to cut down a Christmas Tree and decided to stop.
Very family ordinated (Cartoons were playing) we were seated as soon as we walked in the door they gave us plenty of time to order my husband got the all you can eat Walleye, he said it was really good and you couldn't even tell it was fish! I got a taco salad (recommended by a lady who was coming outside as we were going inside) and our kids had some fries that were really good!
Three diffrent people asked how the food was and how we were doing I think one might have been an owner or manager (he looked very nice)
Over all the service was nice the place was very neat and tidy along with a lot of space. We will return soon!
