This place is an absolute pain in the butt to get to if you are in a sedan, but our Toyota Avalon got us there, after getting stuck in the sand a few times. We got out of there early before camping because there was potential rain. But very cool, water is super chilly but really fun to swim in. Super clear to!
Would definitely make sure you have your instructions printed and a map of you are planning to go out here, gpa doesn’t always want to take you the right way!

No easy way to get here. Good primitive camping spots with large porta pottys. Water is clean. If you are looking for some peaceful camping where you don't hear anything but nature this is a great spot.

6/12/2023-Definitely a disappointment. This was the last of the Econfina Creek springs. Looks run down and little to none human life around. The spring was not blue and not as clear as shown on Google images. Mine are accurate.

Really out of the way but has potential as a camping getaway. There is an on site port-o-potty. Grills and picnick tables. There's not much else and not a lot of shade. There is a long way to go by dirt road with potential deep sand and rough road conditions.

*As of a week before this review it is open to foot traffic only. All campgrounds are closed. Still a porta-potty near Devil's Hole. Reviewed 5/15/19*

Devil's Hole is nearby a lot of the campgrounds near Walsingham bridge. Great place to walk to and swim.

Quite remote and not so easy to find. This is a good thing! Has a platform to jump in from and a ladder to get out. The water is much warmer than the other springs I’ve visited. The Ceeature From The Black Lagoon vibe was sting here! The spring wells up from the center at a depth that swallows all the light from the surface!

Its a joke currently. The journey to it was laughable and stress tests any suspension. Avoid it for a few years. I have seen cleaner swamps. Dark and isolated. Technically closed as improvements and clean up in works.
