What a fun place for the whole family! This place has a great atmosphere and the employees were very kind. My kids loved it! There were plenty of walkers to help the kids skate and they even had strollers to push the little kids around in.

I’m almost 30 years old and I’ve been skating at Deleta since I was in elementary school!
I now have 3 young boys who are in elementary school, and we’ve been attending their monthly school deleta trips for 4-5 years now and I’ve noticed that ever since the old owners left, the place has really started to go down hill and fast!
The once friendly, fun, and cheerful staff, have been replaced with lazy teenagers who are rude and negative! They talk to the children that come in with the elementary schools so rudely when they’re just being asked a simple question or for help! They skip multiple games that the kids normally play while skating there as well! Duck hunt, musical numbers, the rubber balls, etc, and all they do is stand around playing on their phones! They create a very negative vibe and atmosphere and you can tell that they don’t truly care or want to be there for any reason besides a paycheck… It’s really sad! This place used to be such a great and happy place!

Pretty good, the music most of the time is not as good as it used to be with the old owners.
It also seems a bit too dark since they repainted it. It would be cool if the backlight reflected more off the wall with some white details or large spots of white on the walls instead of large amounts of black. Please let a person who is happy a lot of times choose the music instead of those who just experienced a breakup or live with depression, the music taste bleeds into what songs they choose. They did well on their Christmas party event with a few mishaps, but it was good to get games going that mix it up a bit in the rink.

I just had my daughters birthday party at deleta and it was amazing! They made it so easy and were extremely helpful the entire time! It was a great experience for a very fair price. Everyone had a blast and they even gave my daughter a small gift!

Had my daughter’s 9th party.we are from Idaho falls. First time a few years. The room was super cute. (We provided our decorations) they decorated first even though I noted in the reservation I was providing my daughter’s decor. Staff was friendly. Little chaotic and they were on their phones. I give it two stars only because it’s only 1 hour in party room. Having guests figure out their skates I felt wasn’t at all long enough. Paying $300+ I was hoping little more than what they offered. So my advice is to have your guests come 30 min early to figure out their skates/blades, get your party room set up ASAP! Hurry and get your pizza/cake eaten then you can skate. Hurry hurry. My fault for thinking it was more than hour so I didn’t rush my guests.but they did inform me my time was up and we didn’t get to blow candles out yet My fault I miss read the party room details. So we hurried and moved our things out to the bench for the next party. Also having staff constant entering the room if you get the ice cream room just be aware of that. We had to ask for our pitcher of drinks. The gift for birthday child is coupons and free skate. Probably won’t book a party here again,maybe just to skate for the day.(edit: was also told we can’t bring In Our own pizza/outside food but seen other parties bring in their own pizza/outside food) (edit: also in the ice cream package it says $5 game card for each guest. My guest did not receive theirs kinda bummed for this price) daughter and kids had fun so that’s really all that matters.

My son came here for an evening skate with friends. During his time he fell and hit his head, which led to him falling again, being knocked unconscious and suffering a brain bleed.
After receiving footage of the incident you can see staff in the background watch what happened and not respond to him. (In the video, you can visibly see him hit the ground, and get knocked unconscious as his body convulsed.)
Deleta didn’t check him out, therefore I was never contacted, and accountability was not taken.
How many kids suffer severe injuries here that Deleta isn’t addressing/checking/notifying parents?

*Update*: The owner replied and asked that I let the staff know that machines are unplugged. So I'll add more to the review that helps with that concern.

The employees are understaffed which makes it impossible for them to keep everything clean and "plugged in". A lot of these machines are actually plugged in but they have an "out of order" sign posted on them (see the skee ball machine).

Some of the arcade machines (NBA Hangtime) have been off for more than a year based on the two sets of pictures I have posted a year a part. So that address the claim that children are unplugging them.

I didn't address the fact that the florescent lights above the "big toy" need replaced but I suppose it's possible that a child "unplugged" them.

The negative reviews that I have left on several local businesses all have the same thing in common, they are not maintained and the owners are letting them fall apart instead of maintaining the property.

So, I implore the owners to spend the money either by hiring more employees to keep the business clean or by spending money to fix or repair the facility.

*Original Review* Another establishment that hasn't withstood the test of time. Poor cleaning standards and almost zero upkeep has seen another treasured Pocatello institution reach bottom.

Frequent poor reviews show that the owners know about the issues but actions to improve aren't taking place. It's only a matter of time before this business goes under.

There are two sets of pictures in this review and they are a year apart. I dare you to figure out which ones they are... it will be almost impossible because the place is a disaster each of the 3 times I've visited over the past year.

Good enough isn't good enough.
