Once again, Dominick and his culinary team served up an excellent French wine tasting and dinner on September 18. Not only was the food. Excellent, the wine was good, the service was outstanding, and just as important, We learned how certain wines in France are made and certain foods such as the difference between cream, Brulé and flan. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Kudos to the management for supporting the culinary team.

The culinary team at Deer Park Senior Living Community is superb! My mom, husband, and I attended the Italian-themed tasting dinner, complete with a wine pairing for each course! Dominic and his team outdid themselves! The food was delicious, better than a restaurant. Dominic has a depth of knowledge of the food, wine, and region. The staff were kind and attentive. We had a great time and look forward to the next tasting experience!

Beautiful place. DPV has Independent living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. They have a whole range of activities to keep people occupied for the whole day including beautiful pool.
Very friendly environment, nice people, and very clean.

The Memory Care Living has wonderful staff; they are all very caring and attentive. Whenever I visit my friend, she is engaged in an activity. Harlie, the fun, very nice and caring activity director, ensures for each of the daily activities, each resident is engaged to the level she/he can or wants to be in a very person-centered manner.

The community is neat and clean.

My wife and I toured the senior living community for my mother, and I was thoroughly impressed. The community was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and it was heartwarming to see the residents living happily there. Kyle, our tour guide, was exceptional in every way. He not only answered all of our questions but also represented the community with utmost professionalism. We left with a positive and reassuring feeling about the place, thanks to Kyle's expertise and the wonderful atmosphere of the community.

My Mom was at Solano/Deer Park Village for 8 years. Mom was in independent, assisted, then memory care. Everything was great until memory care. I had a camera on my Mom and I saw everything. I was appalled by the treatment.

There are of course exceptions to the rule but we left. We were told Mom would we checked even 2 hours at night This never happened in 2 months she was there! Think how dangerous that is! Mom feet are alway cold and they couldn't even keep socks on my Mom's feet! The care program is get everybody up early. Sit them in front of the t v until after dinner and then put them to bed. There are some wonderful people but belive me, there are some people there that should not be with our loved ones. My Mom was not incontinent but need help getting up they never used a saftey belt they use her pants. Mom would be put in a hospital gown instead of pajamas( my Mom had tons of pajamas), they never put her hearing aids in. Im no expert but senior's who need hearing aids are different people when they cant hear. There response was she took them out. So with that logic I guess you just quit taking care of people. It was an excuse, they fall out sometimes. Employees would tell me in confidence that they were leaving. Its a revolving door. The head nurse would walk past us like we were stangers and we had been there over 8 years. When we left nobody asked us why! I urge the upper management to get involved for the current residents.

We were lucky to find a place with absolute angels to take care of my Mom and for them Iam forever grateful!
