I called to make sure they were going to be there and get prices. I let them know i was on the way. My AC is out and I got all the way there and they never once mentioned that they closed at 4 or that they would no longer be there and i had spoke to the man literally 2 minutes before I arrived.

High quality work at a reasonable price. They Don’t make you feel pressured to fix anything that isn’t necessary at the moment. He is very Honest with his work, an gets you in and out on a reasonable time. There is a difference in clean mechanic work and dirty mechanic work. He does top notch work at a affordable price. I recommend anybody that is lookin for mechanic work to check out this shop.

Car broke down outside Logan Alluminum and had it towed to this place as it was the closest place. Was told they wouldn't have time to look at it that day so I asked if anyone could run me home then and before i could offer fuel in their tank i was told no and then one guy went so far as to crack a joke about another man literally sitting there doing nothing. I was absolutely bewildered a business would treat a customer in this manner. Then I pulled out my debit card and got a chewing on how in 2020 he doesn't accept plastic because it takes to long to get paid. Like wow, I really felt like I had fallen into deliverance and asked the tow trucker to take me to Boatwrights Garage where I knew I'd be taken care of. He seemed to have an arrangement with the owner but was going to have to take me to the bank as he didn't accept plastic either. The entire experience was nightmare fuel until I made it to Boatwrights Garage and Pametha began creating a ticket and Boatwrights offers shuttle service so she drove me by the market and then home.

I took my car to D & A Automotive to get an oil pressure switch changed on my car, and also to get the rear of the engine cleaned (with cleaner i supplied) do to the oil leak from the sending unit. He up charged me $10 over the quoted price of $25, and failed to clean the engine (but kept my cleaner). He also over tightened the oil filter on the car causing it to leak, left the old oil sending unit under the hood rubbing against the radiator which put gashes in my radiator tank. They also over tightened, and rounded off my oil pan drain bolt. I never once asked them to touch the oil filter, or drain bolt, as i was going to be changing the oil myself. Darren him self was rude, and arrogant toward me.

If this is how somebody wants to run there buisness then it should not be open at all, i warn anybody looking to take there vehicle there to find somewhere more credible to do your work as the money you will save will not out weight the money you will spend fixing there errors.

This is not the first incident i have had with D & A Auto, i had taken my 2000 blazer to get a pitman arm replaced, and when i checked the oil i noticed they failed to reinstall the air filter tube to the air filter box, leaving my vehicle to inhale dirty unfiltered air.

So please be warned that Darren runs a sub par business with bad business practice and tends to have an agressive attitude when you question extra charges over the quoted price!
