Cone Cottage is an absolute staple and gem ice cream spot in this area! Their prices are fantastic, along with their friendly staff. Everything is made well and quick. They have amazing options and a variety of them too! Our favorite is their "Elephant Poop Blaster" which is seriously one of the best flurries out there. Don't knock it until you try it!!! 🙂

I want some ice cream so bad! Last time I was there about a month ago I ordered strawberry banana smoothie and the young lady was cutting my bananas with her bare hands. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. Pregnant or not WASH YOUR HANDS & whatever you’re cutting on. I did ask for the manager and she came right away and agreed with me. I advised they either need gloves or to wash hands in the open. Manager stated if they wore gloves they will have to change them often. I said well do what needs to be done. Another young lady chimed in saying there’s no soap at the front sink but clearly I was looking at the blue dial soap at the sink that’s in open view. They washed their hands and remade my smoothie with clean hands. I appreciated that but I won’t be returning! Which makes me sad because I’ve been going there more than half my life.

Absolutely love this place been going here for about 5 years. Every time it’s always a blast and more times then not we always get one thing of the blue moon, its just the best flavor if you go definitely get that first. Theres always close to no wait time if your close it’s definitely worth the money, even if you get it in the winter 😂. They have the best ice cream I've ever had in my life.

I've always loved this place. The ice cream is very good and for a VERY reasonable price. They have a very wide variety of options and they even have a treat for your four-legged friend. The Doggy sunday is $1.25, the prices on the menu might be updated but I believe the options are still the same.

Customer of 10 yrs here. You can’t mess up ice cream, that’s the only “decent” thing that can come from this place. No management in sight. Never an adult in the building. Ran by a bunch of troublesome teens. Watched one of the staff members hit a vape/weed pen, whom was clearly a minor. Not to mention half of the staff is very visibly not sober, it’s ridiculous, they don’t even hide it anymore. Tried ordering ice cream, just overheard a bunch of girls cussing and screaming at each other about drama. To whoever previously owned cone cottage, we miss you. Clearly these new owners have no clue what they’re doing, they hire a bunch of idiots, seems as though they’re occupied on something else, considering they can’t even have a manager on duty… speaking of which, also saw the manager for the first time, she was also hitting a vape/weed pen, IN the “kitchen”.Can’t even get ice cream in a cone anymore. Don’t even bother with the “sloppy jo’s”, disgusting, tastes like it came out of a bag and wasn’t actually made correctly. I cant even put into words how disappointing this is.

We live one block away and have been coming to cone cottage for 25 years. It's always been a great place to walk over to for an evening treat. However, the last two summers, the service here has really gone downhill.

This afternoon, my children were served spoiled ice cream, refused a refund and then told they had to purchase something else in order to receive a replacement.

There are several other ice cream stores in the downtown Crete area. I'd suggest the Mixing Bowl or the Ice Ceam Shoppe if you'd like to actually enjoy your summer treat, and your experience with the service people providing it.

Been goin here since Childhood and still one of my most favorite places to go for ice cream. A wonderful place to bring family and friends. I recommend entirely.

Soooo yummy!!! Couldn't wait to have my twist soft serve of the season!!! I splurged and got oreos on top😋😋 Still as good as last time!! Now melting and almost gone but great snack to finish off a great day.
