Service was good, surroundings great, not too busy on a Sunday night. I had a the best of sho which the brat itself was very tasty, the toasted bun, hard as a rock. I ate the brat on wife's marble rye. She had the schwein Schnitzel with the jaeger sauce which was a little peppery but she ate it down (with a little help) along with the sides. The service was good, long beer selection of all the popular ones and a few locals.

We came as a larger group- 6 adults and 4 kids. The sign said seat yourself but don't move tables. We had to sit at adjacent booths. Our drink orders came out fast but it took about an hour and 20 min to get our food. My parents burgers were very burnt and the patties very small. My son's chicken tenders were extremely hard, but the fries were good. My nephews hotdogs came on large hoagie buns instead of hot dog buns. I had to go look for our server to get my son's juice refilled, which he had downed before our food got there. I ordered a cobbler, advertised as made fresh but it had more of a gelatin texture and, I believe, was microwaved until it was very hot. The restaurant was not half full and for easy food orders, I'm not sure why it took so long and why the food was not a quality experience- fast food would have tasted better than many of the orders we got. A couple of my family members did enjoy their reubens though- they did look tasty!

Not a bad spot at all. Tvs for the game. Full bar. Full menu and sit down dining. Menu has lots of variety, and everything we ordered was just as it was listed. Ample casual seating. Open year round. Rustic bar and grill. Worked perfect for us.. the guys had a few beers and food while my friends walked thru the shops of downtown. Good prices and portions. We had a few apps and the Pretzel sticks were done if the best we've ever had. We will go back next time we are in town.

A mostly 5 star experience here. Loved the food (the caramelized pear & gorgonzola brat, turkey club with fried green tomatoes), service was great, really enjoyed it...until someone started smoking ☹️ did not know this was still allowed in some states. Would still return, but next time for a carryout 🙂

Wanted another German meal. Not as good as some other area restaurants, lukewarm. Chili good. The service very good. Impressed that they have hired young staff that though too young to serve alcohol did excellent work serving food, clearing tables. Atmosphere and vibe way better than the top of the hill much more expensive place. Wine less expensive too and a generous pour.

Had a late lunch here, so we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves.
Got a side salad, which was a meal in itself. My wife and I split it.
Burgers were really good.
Grandson wolfed down the pretzel and chicken.
Waitress was attentive and friendly

Ate here for lunch on a Wednesday in July. Only one server/bartender was working. Only 3 tables were occupied. It took an unusually long time for us to have order taken, to get our food, and to get our tab, especially for as few people as were in the restaurant.

The food was decent. Would order the brat again. Friends would order the Reuben Burger and BLT again. DEFINITELY be ware of the coleslaw. It is super spicy!! Horseradish maybe?

I didn't like that they were smoking inside, but it has that old bar room feel hole in the wall type place, that I like! I only ate there once, the food was half way decent the service was so so, but I can't really blame it on the waitress. She was pregnant and the only one there... The place has potential
